The only reason I can see him going to united is if he would rather play in a counter attacking team. Dortmund are similar to the scum.

Honestly doubt he’d go there considering his father’s history, but who knows.

Don't be surprised if we don't get Haaland and end up going for an alternative. Could be someone relatively unknown like Daka or a household name like Lukaku.

Well I won’t be surprised if it’s not Haaland, it has to be an alternative lol
I hope people could see that I was being sarcastic on my post. Haaland has to be the priority for the next window regardless of price. A name like Daka or ones similar to his would be an embarrassment considering our ambitions and Pep deserves better
 
I ain't gonna put all my hope's on him signing cos it may not happen.

What will be will be, but we have to be aware of who it is we are replacing. The best striker ever in Kun Aguero

Going for some leftfield player would be a massive risk, if this plays out he would have to hit the ground running immediately in order to succeed

Bringing in a player like Haaland would immediately put fear into a defence

Fingers crossed but whose his agent? Riola isn't it

No one should put all their hopes in one single transfer but that doesn’t mean people should already be defensively creating excuses to why it won’t happen instead of having a little bit of faith in Txiki and the board. Or maybe worse, already doing the “I never wanted him anyway” bit before knowing whether it will happen.

People forget that strikers cost a lot more money than any other position in football, for obvious reasons. So don’t expect us to spend in a striker as much as we spent in Rodri or Dias, for instance. A top striker to a top club like ours replacing our biggest name ever will cost considerably more than any transfer we’ve ever done probably. That seems so obvious to me. There is no comparison between this and how much we spent in transfers the last decade, especially a generational talent like Mbappe was, and we were willing to go up to 120 million for him
 
I will be mad if he ends up in the PL but not with us. And then you can bet he would have a debut season of 30 PL goals lol.
 
It'll be disappointing if we don't go for him, but who am I to judge our scouts. Hopefully we get the right signing if its not Haaland.

He scores all kinds of goals, is 20 and is already miles better than what we have. Jesus is never going to be good enough to be our first choice striker

He’s the fucking bollocks mate, got the lot. He’s a world class striker that we’re craving and would score goals in a team like ours on a level only matched by Ronaldo and Messi.

Yes as a goal scorer he’s that good. Might not run about as much as Gabby though or miss half as many as world class Raz.

We’ve signed plenty of players from counter attacking sides. The Bundesliga in particular is just like that stylistically. Haland is good on the ball, strong and gets into great positions and add to that is a ruthless finisher. That’s all we really need and Pep can coach the rest.

On the flip side I do think we need a player that has ability on the counter too. So many of our forwards are poor in that scenario.
