They are all at it.

Back page of the Telegraph
'Solskjaer unearths another diamond'

The Times
'United find a new star'

Unearths, finds, what the fuck. He wasn't spotted kicking a ball in the car park or picking up weeds at the swamp. They paid £37 million fucking quid for him!
But I think this kid must be special. They're very excited about him at OT and here's the thing, because I don't think I've heard this before about any young player, they reckon he could be the next George Best.

Enjoy the bullshit around Diallo. Its gthe flip side of the coin for the media soaked red teams. It happened with lfc during their baron years and it goes something like this:

* utd/lfc player shows promise
* The clickbait media put the spotlight on him and tell their lfc/utd fans he's the next best thing
* Said player isnt as good as initially thought
* lfc/utd fans get frustrated at why their team is shite given all the positive stories about them
* They sack the manager

Its been happening to lfc for 30 years, utds turn now. So, enjoy all these clickbait stories, they're just nails in their coffins

Funny they haven’t run an article on why noddy has failed to use the kid all season and not loaned him out, next thing will be an article on him benefitting from being around “world class” players every day, on the carrington wastelands.
To be fair they did only sign him in January. He's now had 3 subbed-in appearances in the top notch Europa League competition. 7, 31 & 45 minutes each, not a bad return for £37.2million.

Ahh in the article they state £19mil - usual they only consider the initial cost and ignore the add-one for the Rags. I have no idea how the bbc sports editor allows this constant fawning toward the Rags
Dan Roan? The rag **** we banned from the club for misquoting Vieira and that started badmouthing Leicester's owner and spreading rumours at his memorial service? Can't figure that one out either.

they usually label them the "new" whofuckinever....

The Daily United.

I don't remember the Daily United calling it that when another one of their beloved PL cartel clubs won the PL title for the 1st time.

Liverpool are sixth in the Pandemic Premier League table with Sheffield United the biggest losers and the Manchester clubs leading the way... How has YOUR club coped behind closed doors in the last year?

Watch this space...so they are playing with the facts again ...didn’t realise this thanks... but did he score with his first touch in 7, 31, & 45, .... not quite the polished diamond the Telegraph are claiming this morning lol
I still remember Bobby Owen scoring TWICE in his first ever game and collecting a trophy so forgive my cynicism lol

This one?

I absolutely loved Paul Power. I was as happy as you can be when he moved to Everton and won the league with them. Shame we didn't see him in Europe.
Smashing bloke as well, met him quite often post match and he was always brilliant with our group of mithering 16/17 year olds. Bright lad, been to university, Leeds I think, Steve Highway from Liverpool was the only other player I can recall having been to university.

Alan Gowling as well.

Rodri still goes to University, doing a business degree I think. I think Kompany did too but I'm not 100% sure on that one. Nedum possibly did a degree too.

Kompany has a degree and a masters in Business administration. I was surprised he went into coaching tbh, always thought he'd move up to board level at some stage.

Power was underrated by many fans back then but always had time for them.
He had a law degree if memory serves.
