The South Americans for sure ... so Ferna, Ederson, Jesus, Aguero ... Not sure if Pep will follow through on his threat earlier where he said whoever will need to isolate on return will not be going ... let's see next week what happens.
Not sure any of the remaining players will be travelling to "red zone" countries. Is Germany classed as red zone?

Steffen
Walker Stones Dias Cancelo
Fernandinho
De Bruyne Gundogan
Bernardo Jesus Sterling

Portugal is ... and I think Germany depends where they're playing their games ... reason Liverpool and us have had to play both legs of R16 ties in Hungary plus heard Dortmund has barred the English kid to join with England squad as well so there is something there.

I guess we'll only have clarity by the weekend.

That's why I was wondering about Germany. Was unaware of Portugal's status, to be honest.

Portugal removed from list now I think

That won't have any bearing on the Everton game. Players won't be joining up with their countries until possibly monday.

I think it will
If you think about the last international break, Gundogan played three FULL matches for Germany. If it's likely that any player is anticipated to be in the same situation, then Pep won't play them this weekend, as the player would be playing four full games in two weeks and will come back knackered
If the player isn't going on international duty, then they're getting two weeks rest after the Everton game, so if the player is considered to be one of our best eleven (example Cancelo) then even if they played in the CL, there is no issue in selecting the player vs Everton with a break afterwards

Fair point.

I can't see Bernardo playing on the wings for us anymore, Pep has only played him in central positions for a while.

How about Turkey? Istanbul is nice in May.
Just wondering, lots of interesting archaeological sites to visit there ...

Steffen
Walker Stones Laporte Mendy
Fernandinho
Foden Gundogan
Torres Aguero Sterling

Aguero needs a run of games to get his fitness further up, i give him 70min or a full run if things are going well. i think Pep will likely play Dias, Cancelo & Rodri

Tuesday to Sat night is about as big of a rest as the lads get anymore, so I expect strongest XI that is match fit and absent niggles could play...but Pep being Pep, it’ll probably be 6 changes again!

Everton aren’t a bad team on their day and have a few dangerous players. Thankfully, I think their defence is shit!

I’d play Jesus Aguero Torres across the front. Let Torres get balls in to the two front runners going near & far post, or one going onto goal and the other for the cutback.

Foden Rodri Bernardo across the middle. Rodri to spray it about and Foden and Bernie to provide the movement and ball control to create.

At the back, Walker Stones Dias Cancelo, with Steffen in goal. This gives Cancelo the chance to come inside and knock backs through and over, plus having a crack himself from distance.

That leaves Gundo, KDB, Sterling, Mahrez, Ferna, Laporte, Ake, Zinchenko, Mendy & Ederson for the bench!

What a fucking squad!!!

I’m just seeing that we have international friendlies after Everton. Why then do most of our lineup suggestions have a lot of rotation?

Quaterfinal match vs a good side as Everton has the potential of ending our quadruple hopes if we treat it casually therefore rotation is only needful if there is no significant drop in quality otherwise we put our best foot forward. My revised suggestion would be;

Steffen
Walker Stones Dias Cancelo
Fernandinho
Bernardo Gundogan
Sterling De Bruyne Foden

A bit unfair for Gabby but the midfield maestros have been so good lately, who would you drop?
