It’s 1.1 billion fans now, isn’t it?

theyve gone from UB40 levels to 1 in 7th heaven
To paraphrase the lad from status quo, even if they've 1.1bn fans (which they don't) there's still 6.8bn people that either couldn't give a fuck about them, have never heard of them or think they're shite.

I've watched a couple of his 'offerings' on YouTube when Ushited lose. The guy's a plank. Rag box ticker.

Brent is the quintessential armchair Rag **** who started watching them when they were good in the 90s, claims to support them but it's all a show to cultivate an image. If he'd be born 10 years earlier he'd have been a Liverpool fan. We all knew/know these types and they are the most irritating species on the planet if you engage with them. I cannot afford to do so, the mere sight of him increases my blood pressure. He's blocked me on twatter, which is just as well.

I worked for a very, very wealthy bloke in Leicester. A Ugandian Asian who sought refuge in this country after being kicked out of Africa by Idi Amin
The guy had no interest in football, but you could guess the ages of his sons by the clubs they supported
One a rag the other a red scouse

BBC News - Liverpool face Real Madrid in Champions League last eight

Maybe they see that one as the glamour time, romance of the European nights at Anfield and so on, but I'd actually forgotten Liverpool were still in the competition.

But I suppose 6th placed english team draws 3rd placed spanish team, doesn't sound quite as appealing, does it?

I'd have thought the returns of Sancho and Gundogan, Dias vs Haaland, De Bruyne vs Bellingham, would have been the headline grabber. Or as the BBC would likely put it...

Filthy arab oil barons face club who liberated mistreated English youngster from their clutches.
"CFA like a prison" says one source, with children as young as 9 forced to train for days on end, with no sight of the first team or a promised career in football.

I wasn’t sure where to post this but as this is in “the media “ I thought this would do.

A friend sent this to me. It’s too funny.

And the Rags have the gall to call us bitters

Article couldn't load for me so I found a mirror

Not sure why he's pretending like United are some small club and that it 'could've been them'. Yes, we got lucky with the ownership, but we made the most out of it, which is alot more than some other similarly rich clubs can say.

His club spent as much as we did in the past decade, and gotten barely anything. So no Mark, your club is not poor like Newcastle, Norwich, etc., your team and your ownership just sucks. You weren't crying when your team was soaking up the talents in the league and dominating the league with them. Where were the tears for the integrity of football when your team splash a then British record £30m on Ferdinand? Oh that's right, you don't remember, because you were a Nottingham Forest fan.
