So it seems clear that the 2-3 potnetial Tier 1 targets are:

Haaland
Grealish
Messi

With the potential also for Zakira as a forth (though we may wait on this depending upon the situation with Ferna)

Outgoings potential - slight possibility of Mahrez going (but still unlikely), Aguero (depending upon contract)....Mendy should go but no way anyone will have him unless we give him away

Obviously some EDS, CFG signings in and out on loan etc

We have played that system because we don't have No 1 striker, Pep has gone down this road because Aguero is fucked & Jesus can't finish his fucking dinner

Sterling has been hit & miss & young Delap isn't ready

If we sign Messi then I don't have a problem but to say we aint signing a CF I just dont see it

Even with Hasland we still play a false 9 in some games that won't change nobody in this team will play week in week out

How can anyone here seriously think that we would be interested in Haaland + Grealish AND Messi?
Finding the space for 1 of Messi/Grealish would be hard enough. Let alone for both of them.

Goes without saying that Messi is bonus signing that will be certainly done if he wants to come here.

Txiki wont be thinking in that moment "but but wheres the spot for him".

Wouldn't surprise me if we attempt to get 2 of the 3, but not all 3, no way. Messi stays at Barca imo, but that's just a guess on my part, wouldn't surprise me if Sergio ends up there as well.
