I've seen enough glimpses of his ability this year to confidently predict he's going to be a big part of our teams success over the next couple of years.
Still learning, still making the odd error and wrong decision making here and there, but make no mistake this lad has the tools to play for us.
Agreed.

He was rated one of the best prospects in Spain before he joined us. He's already getting games for the national team and that one he played vs Germany was a sign post to what is coming.

At the moment, he's a young player finding his feet in a league in a new country, playing for a manager who has way of playing that can take some getting used to. Ferran has to work out when to express himself and when to keep it simple. I think he is a bit tentative at the moment and needs time to settle in.

He did fine against Fulham, unfortunately he's another 'victim' of our incredible squad and a lack of game time.If he's patient, the opportunity will come and he'll prove his worth.

Not playing in the cup was a bad sign.
Not particularly. Everton are a physically stronger and more disciplined proposition than Fulham, and he’s currently much too easily brushed off the ball to merit a starting berth against such opponents. A summer in the weight room would benefit him.

I think with Torres there's a double whammy with his lack of minutes.

For one, he's a new player in a new league and some need longer to settle than others.
For two, he's still really young. If he'd come through the academy then at his age his minutes would still be limited to a large degree.

Put those two together, and he's not likely to feature much. Yet.

I like him. Already bagged a few goals and not scared of having a dig or taking responsibility and beating his man.

Still young, in his first season, and trying to break into an incredible side. I remember Sane being non-existent at Old Trafford in the Carabao cup in his first season and struggling in many games. Plenty of time for the lad and like Laporte, Bernardo, Sane, Rodri, Cancelo I think season 2 he will shine.

I think it says something that even if he is playing poorly, he still gets goals.

Imagine what happens when his form picks up, I think we'll see something really special next season.

His finishing is striker level and do agree I wouldnt be surprised to see him central in the long term. Huge prospect but im expecting next season to be when he properly delivers as we’ve seen with many others. Goals at the start of this season were a bonus

Been a difficult season for him in the PL, but on the international stage he has been on fire. Next season I am hopeful he will get more game time and I think he will do the business.

Why does he play better for Spain than for us?
He's been rubbish last few appearances
