Wasn’t in the game at all although kdb should have given him a very easy ball on the edge of the area for what should have been a certain goal.
Has to do more work to free himself and needs to do more defensively but the main problems today were the regular issues we are having with our build up play meaning we couldn’t get the ball to our forwards in dangerous positions enough for them to have an impact.

I think in fairness just as we defended well so did Liverpool, mostly. Robertson, Mané and Wijnaldum all kept him quiet and neither De Bruyne or Walker were useful assistants.
It's still such early days that it's hard to draw any conclusions, especially from this fixture.

Think he bottled it a bit today. Was even letting their players cross the ball in with no attempt at all to get close to the player to stop the cross.
Still wasn’t nearly the worst player though.

He is not a winger - he is centre forward :D
It's great in terms of Aguero replacement for the summer.. Jesus And Torres will be enough..
So club can focus on the wingers and find some solutions there..
