40 - 59 (208) 29.1%

This is the real evidence of the vaccine working. Under 10% over 60 testing positive when it was 3 times this number when the vaccination was just starting out in January.

And over 61% now of the cases are from people under 40 - the least vaccinated groups.

Uhhh, apparently, you have to leave details when you sit anywhere like the coffee shop outdoor area.

Day 1: They aren't taking any details.

Hmmm.

Kinda proves why all the vaccine passport stuff was never really worth stressing over if you're fundamentally against it or concerned. It might happen, but I guarantee it will be treated as slackly as companies can get away with. People will get bored and forget about it very quickly.

Well, Collage University London modelling saying we are, as of today, at Herd Immunity levels!. Nice.

There's bound to be some miss calculations and crossover between those who had it naturally and also been vaccinated who are probably counted twice in this.

But we're so so close now. Need to make sure the SA variant doesn't take hold now and we're good.

Scotland vaccination data

2, 668, 723 first doses given - 11, 145 today - was 14, 054 yesterday & 11. 443 last week

590, 174 second doses given - 21, 299 today - was 17, 176 yesterday & 5317 last week

Four times the second doses of last week.

Just my pessimistic side coming out here but the first thing I see on that story is the date. It was released on 15th March. Surely if it was a genuine game changer it would have exploded in terms of its coverage by now?

It says they were planning on applying for use at the time - it's now a month on, which is in line with the vaccine assessment times.

So total deaths with England out of hospital to add is 11 - the lowest at this stage since late Summer.

Wk to wk: 191 v 132 v 104 v 79 v 49 v 19 v 25* v 11 TODAY

And total cases with England to add is 346 - the lowest I can recall and down even on yesterday.

Wk to wk: 1221 v 817 v 809 v 825 v 596 v 538 v 526* v 346 TODAY

* some two day data from Easter weekend here hence the higher numbers last week
