How many trophies will we win?

The one things that nags me a bit about this golden period in our history is a relatively poor haul in the FA Cup compared to the league and League Cup. Couldn’t give a toss about the CL though
 
Hopefully two but think one...the league. We wont be good enough to handle Mbappe,Neymar and De Maria and Pep may sacrifice the league cup.
 
Anytime we lift a trophy is a wonderful achievement. We dared to dream for 4 but at least we had a dream and nearly pulled it off.

League only and it is a fantastic achievement. Covid season with no forward and some players taking the piss. I will not turn into the rags/Scousers or fall for the media negative narrative. Champions of England 3 out of 4 seasons is a fantastic achievement. Only an idiot would not agree.

We have always next year to try again with hopefully a few new attackers. Stay positive blues. Smash villa next.

Even our first choice XI look a bit toothless at times without one. around January time some fans were suggesting we were a better team without KDB. While I never gave that theory one ounce of credence, I admit that back then we did have good options to come in when he got that injury. I don’t see them now tbh

Sterling, Jesus, Torres, Fernandinho and Cancelo are all out of form. Bad time for that to happen.

if we manage to get past PSG, and it’s a big if, then the notion that the final will be easy is well gone tonight
Chelsea are a good side and will be no pushovers, nor will Real

These gloating fans of other clubs are gonna be ten times worse than tonight if we don’t win the CL. I’m not looking forward to that

Chelsea and Real are not easy with or without KDB. I wouldn't trust us to win "easily", we lost against Europa standard Utd if you remember.
Then the notion that PSG is this ridiculously high standard team needs to be put to bed. I watch Ligue 1 from time to time, and you only need to look at their teamsheet to know that they have 7-8 problems to take care of. They have one way of playing, whack it to Neymar or Mbappé then let them "express themselves". even without KDB we still stand a chance if we play as a unit (like in Jan-Feb, when we were at our absolute best this season).
And lastly, stop caring about gloating. Our fans would do the same against Dippers and rags this season so it's just fair play. We are much more successful than anybother English team this season.
 
I don’t think we’ll win any of the cups, ‘just’ the league. Spurs will be almost identical to today, just replace “Ziyech” with “Son”.
 
Before the season starts you would always take 1 trophy if it was the league or the champions league. Nowadays a single domestic cup isn’t what it used to be. This morning I would have said that in the position we were

The quad would be beyond expectations, a miracle season
The treble would be astonishing
League and cl also astonishing
League and one domestic cup alright
One trophy only would be a disappointment
No trophies an absolute disaster.

Change 7 or 8 players in starting line ups is not what you would call regular or even squad rotation. Its literally possibles vs probables , 1st team vs reserves. Its taking the piss . We were shite today, the team didn't gel or have any rhythm until the game was lost . Chelsea were made to look good. I can't remember one decent chance

Give over, nobody gives a shite if we win the League Cup (apart from us).

If we win the CL it makes everyone sit up and take note, enhances the commercial appeal of the club and elevates our transfer targets. Another League Cup changes fuck all, but a CL elevates the club to another level.
