I shook my head when he went off and said, "poor fucking kid".
Sterling should have went off, Torres should have moved up top with Jesus moving to the left and Mahrez or Bernie coming on to the right side.
He did fuck all in the game tbh he can have no complaints about being subbed

Still early days I guess, but I just don't see it. Looks a decent finisher at times, but I don't see any real magic or spark in his play at all tbh. Hard to really point to what he's even trying to do at this point

Nowhere near as good as Barker and Lopes hahah, comeon mate. Hes struggling a bit in his first year but hes shown he can score goals. He is being punted out on the wing when we don't play with out and out wingers and midgets up top even if he can get some space and get a cross in.
Which is pretty much what I said... He's NOT a winger, and as such, he's not as good as Barker or Lopes in that position.

He's been wasted by Pep in recent games

I doubt that he did complain. I just think that because Sterling was ineffective on the left, Jesus is better on the left, Torres is better up top and Mahrez/Bernie are better on the right than on the bench that it wouldn't have been a bad idea.

Similar first season to sane, COVID really hit him bad and he's struggled to really get back into form ever since. No problem, he's young, in a new country and still learning.

More than happy with what he's produced when fully fit this year.

That’s not actually true because from January on Sane began to show his amazing potential and ability.... All for giving the lad another season but so far he’s shown he can finish and little else

I agree, i think people forget he's only 20
He's got talent and can score, so let's hope he improves and we can judge him after next season

Nowhere near similar. Sane showed outstanding potential from the second he set foot on the pitch, Torres hasn't done anything even close to that. He would look ordinary in our eds side, you wouldn't have said that about sane at any point or any other signings who have taken time to adjust.

Mahrez hasn’t been a good buy imho but this season he come good. Gungo has been slated on here in previous seasons but this year has come good.

I think we’ll see some fantastic football from this guy over the next 2 years.

He's just robotic. Doesn't show any personality on the pitch at all.
Think we'll here he's homesick at some point.

Mahrez was a player of the year title winner and gundogan was a world renowned midfielder that had played in a champions league final. The comparisons are way off.

I'm not saying he won't come good, I personally don't think he's shown anything since he's come here to suggest he will and I'm not sure if others are saying it in blind hope or I'm missing something but the scouts must have seen something from him to bring him in.

you can keep on saying he will be good in 2/3 years, but that's what you say about eds players. Perhaps he shouldn't be in the first team squad right now and that's not his fault, but he is and he has to perform, nobody gets a free ride.

Him on the pitch is the closest thing to playing with 10 men you'll get without actually playing with 10 men he does nothing. I would rather see him run at his marker a dozen times during the game and lose the ball a dozen times than what he's currently doing
