How many trophies will we win?

We’ll win the prem and that’s it I reckon, which obviously I’d be buzzing with, just a kick in the bollocks that we’ll most likely throw away another domestic treble in reach of the champs league I just don’t see us winning this year

Just the league I think, if the league cup wasn’t so close to the semi final of the CL, then I think we would go full strength, Pep definitely won’t and the ones below have just shown they aren’t up to it. We will win the league by 5 points as well.

Only two Trophies matter nowadays. The Premier League and the Champions League. How many League cups have Real Madrid won? Who cares?
A lot of our fans remind me of England cricket fans who didn't give a shit about the World Cup or ODI cricket, but along came July 2019 and it's now all they talk about. If we did win the CL, you won't find a City fan anywhere who says it's not worth winning.

Pep will almost certainly go all-in for the CL and as such will aim to 'protect' his first choice team. Therefore, he will probably go for a similar line-up to today against Spurs next weekend.

If he does, we should expect a similar outcome.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that he's disrespecting the domestic cup competitions this season, but it's clear from today that his focus is very firmly on the CL. Let's just hope that he doesn't balls up the PL along the way.

I said we would win the league, CL and League cup and go out of the FA cup to Chelsea earlier in this thread (well I think it was this thread but I definitely posted it). I’m sticking with that :)

A good post.

It understands the desire of the fans to win the league but also the collective desire of the club to win the CL. In this equation, it is obvious that the domestic cups are the ones that have to give.

You will , I know City fans , they are not fooled by a fake , bent , corrupt , shit competition which is full of teams who are not champions , where you can lose 3 games & still win it . A ‘competition’ where teams with ‘ historic significance ‘ will be guaranteed entry in 2024 . It’s bollocks .

The amount of shit I’m getting and seeing on social media because a club that apparently nobody cares about aren’t winning a quadruple that no team has ever achieved before !!!

congratulations to the vermin that is the English football media. Don’t think there was a single city fan who didn’t suss out their game weeks ago

Setting us up to do the quad so that when it inevitably didn’t happen they could label us as failures and every plastic bellend troll could jump on it with pathetic glee

Well I don't approve of the proposed changes in 2024 but is a league not worth winning because we've lost 4 games this season?

And speaking of "fake kudos", does a cup run that includes Oxford, Fulham, Leicester and Burton Albion carry genuine kudos?
