Reminds me of one of the pre season American tours a few years back when they genuinely announced over the tannoy trivial things every minute or two like "corner kick awarded to Manchester City" Americans ruin everything.

I reckon they are playing this one out to see what happens with this announcement - Bayern are fan owned are they not, and isn't PSG's owner on the board of FIFA

Can we really believe that PSG would not sign up to this if it happened - Bayern it may be down to the fan vote (not sure how it works in germany)

Let's say the PL back down and the big 6 play in the league next season. For starters the race for top 4 ends. None of the big 6 need to qualify so as soon as 1 or 2 teams break away the other 4 will concentrate on the ESL.

The financial disparity between the big 6 and the rest will be horrendous. They will be getting roughly £300mill a year more than those not in it.

That's just for starters. Like it or not a super league makes the PL and other domestic leagues second rate competitions

We often do, but I’ve been to plenty of City matches in the US (and in Manchester) and I don’t ever recall that . . .
 
they need to choose a random selection of these teams and relegate them. The lucky others should be deducted money. Bring the game into disrepute

Maybe they've been told they'll be expelled from their domestic leagues if they did??

Let's face it, if this goes ahead it would make the the domestic leagues pretty much redundant and worthless
