We may as well just merge with United and just have a Manchester franchise, we’ll just be a Manchester United MkII if we go along with this anyway.come on then lets have our super league nickname
eastland raiders
It's not fair. I'm not for the proposal.
I'm just shocked at how many people clearly haven't actually read the proposal as laid out in the articles breaking the story, how many think the idea is to replace domestic games instead of the CL, and how many people can't tell the difference between a threat of being expelled and the clubs actually being expelled.
Fuck off
It was nothing to do with them
Stick to apologising for the media
Fuck off,
Football clubs are businesses and they look out for their own interests, as City does, as all clubs do. I just don't think it makes them total scum, bastards etc. My mistake for thinking we could have an adult difference of opinion I guess.Fuck off, it was self serving shite in the hope that it gave them an extra chance of getting into Europe. Since CAS found in our favour we would have missed out on a season in Europe and at least £50million and you think that's reasonable?
If we had the death penalty would you be happy for the sentence to be carried out on someone while waiting for the appeal?

Whether you believe this will happen or not is besides the point when calling someone out on their reading comprehension.
It’s all posturing to get the new CL format to be as desirable as possible for the history clubs. Don’t think it will happen, it’s all linked to the new CL format.
So why are we involved then? It’s all posturing to get the new CL format to be as desirable as possible for the history clubs. Don’t think it will happen, it’s all linked to the new CL format.
But that would mean teams in the premier league have different objectives. Some teams will be desperate for the top 4 places but the ones in the super league wouldn’t be arsed as they are competing in a different tournament. Farce.

Absolutely. But could they face ‘extinction’ if they don’t, esp those Italian and Spanish ones?It is a huge financial risk though. The whole project is being bankrolled by a US Bank and most of those involved already have huge debts. If it flopped, and there are no guarantees with anything in these turbulent times, some of these so-called Superclubs could face extinction.
and you can sup ale ;-)Ha ha - I used to watch non-league regularly years ago. Believe me, you will be arsed if your team can't do the above. Best thing about watching at lower level though, is that the linesman can hear your abuse first hand.
Hope it happens. Enough is enough.![]()

Can't wait for our match against the Liverpool Stealers.Oil Slick City.
Behave!Great news for our local non league clubs, you can add one to Bridge Celtics attendances next season. Looking forward to standing at the Bower Club with a Guinness watching the game, and not having to purchase 30000 “loyalty” points (lol) to get to away games.
Also not being that arsed if someone who only gets paid £100 a game can’t dribble, can’t hit a barn door, can’t tackle, can’t head a ball, can’t beat a goalie in a 1 on 1 etc etc etc
