I actually like the proposed format, it would be far more exciting that the currency and proposed cl format. I also quite like the idea of cutting UEFA right out of things.

If this super League was not a closed shop and if the participating clubs had to give a very large amount of their earnings from the league, to clubs in the English pyramid, then I would be all for something like this.

Unfortunately, the big clubs want all the candy for themselves and that's why I could never support the current proposals.

Most of us have been brought up on relegation, it hurts and hurts bad, but it's life and competition is healthy. Yes of course it's brilliant being the best team in Europe and probably the world but the thought that you have the divine right to be in Europe's most elite, (I use the word elite very loosely as personally I couldn't give two fucks for it) competition without even qualifying for it just doesn't sit right with me. what the fuck goes through their heads, what the fuck happened to competition and qualification. it's appalling elitist greed. I’m all for getting rid of the pointless group stages of the CL. I’m all for the best teams in Europe battling it out during the week. What I am not all for, is the predetermination of who those best teams are. You want to play in Europe on a Tuesday and Wednesday and enjoy the riches that come with it? Fine....fucking earn the right to do so, by what you do here and now, in your domestic league and not by what you did 30 years ago.
