FIFA and UEFA may have the balls to ban teams and players but no way will the premier league do that.

Would they really bin off the 6 biggest teams in the league? Absolutely no chance. The 6 English teams have made the ultimate gamble and I think domestically it will pay off
the international TV broadcasters would see to it they won't, plus the east Asian bookie markets and the fact Sky and BT are done without it no matter how much they will protest it tonight.

That statement is probably the worse thing that’s ever gone on the site.

Quoting Perez, Agnelli & Glazer is the most absurd thing I’ve seen.

I can’t actually believe I’m reading it.
It’s pathetic, truly pathetic. I did think we were better than this.

clubs with massive debt realising next season won’t have full stadiums they probably think even if it lasts one season they have double at least to what they world got! For me though the premier league have the power to dock points from every team who have signed up to this and relegate them or just kick them out.. the sad thing is though if this happens and at this moment it looks likely unless uefa back down and give those history clubs what they want! In few years time the younger and the foreign fans will watch this and as a city supporter no matter how much I hate this I will still watch my team it’s just in my blood..

think Bayern and PSG will join it also.

This is so depressing that we are getting in bed with the greedy and self-serving clubs that have been determined to stop our progress.

the whole soul of competitive football ripped apart by pure greed.

If your idea of the gamble paying off domestically is a half empty stadium with those attending in half and half scarves then yes, it has paid off.

Exactly.

It‘s the start of the end of football as we know it.

As I said earlier, Super League will be weekend football within a few years max.

With half the games played in the US/Middle East with tickets £200 a pop.

The American model of sports is the worst one possible but it's the most profitable to the owners.

Shame we've got into bed with the fucking yanks after the last 10 years.

I won't be attending any of the super league games.
Will continuing to attend premier league games be supporting the super league or is it all or nothing?

I'd have no problem if the format was the leagues but it wasn't automatic entry for the founding clubs.

How did spurs manage to convince everyone they should be part of it?

Why don't psg want to be involved?

Bein Sports pay big bucks to UEFA

I dont think I've ever been more disgusted with City. We're signing up for something pushed by Perez and the Glazer's, the very people who wanted us banned from the champs league only a few months ago. Very disappointed that our club has no principles.

To quote Jim Royle... Super League my arse.
