I voted 'yes' because the alternative would basically be suicide for the club.

300 mil extra in revenue to the cartel clubs that we would miss entirely? I don't want to see that. Everything we've done for 10 years to overtake the scum and we're just supposed to let them run off into another stratosphere? Can't go for that on any level.

That makes me 'not a City fan' I guess.

This proposal is despicable and I loathe the American model of sports leagues. But I would have followed City to League 1 if we'd gotten done by the FA last year and I will follow City to this nonsense.

I suspect most others will as well, as this crap will likely end up being little different than the proposed Chumps League revamp. Except in that the rags and dippers probably would be guaranteed to get in every year for "historical success" whilst we wouldn't.

perez sayin that he will create a new world cup and euro if uefa and fifa forbids players who participate this superleague to play for national teams..........
 
Owners must have gotten bored with winning the League Cup year after year and decided English CUp competitions were a worthy sacrifice for this Supa Leeg.

I haven't completely given up but its going to get very tedious and ridiculous expensive for an average match going supporter

Problem is the players just found out there’s 4 billion new cash on offer. They have been allocated 55% of it. They’ll face the same dilemma City did of make a stand or get your cash

That would be the interesting one. I can't see the national leagues having the courage to do much against it. I suspect the only thing that can stop it is the players but in many cases their loyalty can probably be bought.

There's a small part of me that's hoping the players remember what it was like when they were growing up and get together like they did at the start of the pandemic to completely condemn this. I doubt it though cause money talks.

If someone like Kev came out to condemn though I would fucking love it.
 
well if the poll on here is running at 3% for and 97% against with around 1000 votes then that gives us some accurate numbers of opinions which tells me if the PL ban these clubs with immediate efect there is a chance this SL may never get off the ground, football fans now need to stand together
