no he is not. Football isnt in crisis with massive debts, some clubs are, and a majority are fine cos they are inteligently financed for years.
Real and barca bot hhave over a billion euro debt Officially, and not counting the loans from private banks. Most english club are in good shape despite covid, same for bl, ligue 1, eredevisie etc.
This always was the story in football. Someone comes, invests, sometimes he wins, sometimes he doesnt, but eventually he leaves, and table turns.

Man Utd, Spurs, Barcelona have massive debts. Real Madrid are rebuilding their stadium. I should imagine that's very costly. City just lost £126m and we are one of the most successful sides in the Premier League. Of course this initiative is a reaction to that. Doesn't mean I agree with it. But the problems for the likes of Barcelona are there for all to see.

That's why I am pretty sure City would love this to fail. We don't want a solution for crippled rivals but what do you do when you are invited in or out?
