We have resigned from the ECA.
They may well not have us back then we truly would be screwed.

This all feels like copping off with the most stunning woman at a party, drinking champagne all night and making love until you fall asleep in each others arms.

Then waking up to realise she's a 75 year old cross-dresser from Barnsley...
is the champagne free at this party?

These are the same clubs that didnt want you anywhere near their gang and tried to get you banned.

You are only invited to help with their massive debts and have fell for it. Under the current system, they will have to balance the books like every club so wont be able to compete with you for big players. Join the SL and you are giving them the £££ to get these players
Look what you say is correct and 99.9% of City fans are aligned on not wanting this. However, where was the support from your club and the other 13 clubs towards us, when the cartel wanted us banned from the CL? The league is full of sides who are only there for their own self-interest. Now this is going to potentially put 14 clubs out of business, you're now willing to speak out against the cartel. City fans told you all that FFP was about maintaining the status quo and that it had nothing to do with saving clubs but no, it was "dirty oil club, should be banned, fined, hung".

Maybe if you guys had spoken out 5 years ago when we needed your support, we wouldn't be dealing with this abomination now.

Do we know the implications of backing out and going back to UEFA? Punishment from PL & UEFA regardless due to initial sign up.

Sadly I think we're fcked whatever we do now.

If we were fucked either way then you might as well pursue with the ESL. If the rest of football genuinely want this stopped how can you punish a club who can prevent it?

We pull out and we have 19 PL clubs voting against us, potentially even kicking us out and UEFA wanting blood. In short, we either go with it or we're fucked. Signing up has got the Rags and Dippers all they ever wanted to kill us once and for all.

Run by fools.
I actually think UEFA and the PL clubs will welcome us back with open arms at this point. Remember, this super league is the death of both the Champions League and the Premier League (in terms of it's current worldwide exposure).

We need to be the first club to see sense and hopefully others will follow. It might restore a tiny bit of pride from this absolutely shit storm.

True, all though all reports indicate that Ceferin has been very good to us
Only until we rejected his guilty plea bargain and then he hit us with UEFA's biggest ever penalty based on stolen (and as was proved later fabricated emails). We told him to fuck off and were cleared by CAS. He's a snake just like the rest of his pals in UEFA.

Think you will find Everton were NOT one of those clubs that wanted you suspended or kicked out

Not fully but it will surely be less than waiting for this ESL to be legislated against in some manner.

Man City, PSG and Bayern are the 3 best teams in Europe. The UCL will still be interesting and will still gather views.

Do the right thing City.
Dortmund, Ajax, Roma, Napoli, Marseille, Lyon, Porto, Benfica, Valencia, Sporting, Sevilla, Leicester on top of that.

Still would interest people a lot IMO
