@SimonStoneBBC.....remember that’s the cuuuuunt who went after Phil Foden “disgraced Phil Foden” for behaving like a twenty year old after a few shandies. Fuuuck Stone.

People thinking this is just a bluff need to wake up - this is happening

No way that this is a bluff - the damage being caused each minute is irreversible

There is no longer a functioning relationship with any of the clubs involved and UEFA going forwards - unless those at board level at the clubs were removed - which wont happen

The next step in this will be getting a deal done with each prospective domestic league - and once we learn what revenue they will pocket from it then we will see is signed and sealed you watch
Resignations, contracts signed, club silence. The writing is on the wall.

It means game over for us. Also rans in plastic league. Order has been fixed, old boys are at the top once again.
That’s it. The old cartel has won, game over. They will get the full 350m per year and City might not even see half of that. Either way, City were finished as one of the top 2 clubs, which they are right now with Bayern. But they could have kept the fans on side. Now the club is dead.

I think the ultimate idea is 20 teams. 15 founder members and 5 who qualify on merit each year.

There will be plenty interested in watching. Maybe not the traditional fans but the global viewing figures will be high.

I suspect it will the the CL that becomes the dead league.
May as well close the turnstyles (with this pandemic they already have). Fans will be a thing of the past for ESL purposes. It will be tv rights, streaming rights, online merchandising will be for home fans and day trippers because there will be no away fans (due to the total price of a day out).

I understand that sources quote 'clubs are looking at younger fans', ho ho fucking ho, I hope they all have super jobs with ridiculous income, as for kids and family days out, forget it. Unless you are taken to a match when you are a kid, there is a damn good chance that the latest breed will all be fairweather fans, changing their 'allegiance' depending on which way the breeze is coming from, and who is on Amazon Prime on any given night.

There's still a way to go but if this happens, the future of football as I know it is BLEAK.
