Are we getting carried away or have we actually pulled off the greatest Trojan horse of all time? I find it bizarre how anyone can defend the club now. They are only doing it because they are embarrassed about the backlash

It's not about defending the club. I am sure most fans are just relieved that we pulled out. We do need a proper explanation of what has happened. But you can't blame Pep and the players (at least based on what Pep said today) and they do need our support. They have worked hard this season and can still end up with three trophies.
