Pretty sure if will have been for legal reasons that we couldn’t make a full statement last night.Should have come last night when we withdrew, poor that it did not.

More chance of me getting a call to join a team of jazz loving, lycra wearing acrobats, and me accepting. No way.
Unless it's pink lycra, obviously.
Preferably Leicester, but West Ham if not, its all good! You need to really work hard to get this top 4 place this year. The more the apple cart is upset, the better!
It does compute if it was premeditated and we knew exactly what we were doing. We had no choice but to join according to some on here but we pulled out of it pretty damn quickly when the club realised they'd made a monumental fuck up.
Doesn't compute does it?
What legality? The EFL is destroyed, along with the clubs reputation, this will cost us dear, prestige, money, titles, 12 years of hard toil gone in a moment of greed.Pretty sure if will have been for legal reasons that we couldn’t make a full statement last night.
That is unequivocally the most positive PR we have had from Ian Herbert! But I take your point. There is no positive PR for any of the clubs involved here, if you see it, its reflected internally from partisan sources. The only positive it what may occur due to this attempted coup.
Let the dust settle, I’m sure we will get a proper statement & apology soon enough.
3 days ago 1 club, Manchester City, had absolutely no power in Europe. Now we have a little bit more and 11 others are now in the same boat as us.
Was it intended? The end result certainly makes it look like it is.
In effect, it's the ending to the Godfather and Godfather II films.
I think you are wrong. PSG didn't join - how most people even on here painted it? "They need WC, they will join later" or "not even invited".Anybody who thinks we’ve played a blinder in all of this is just trying to paper over the poor lack of judgement by the club IMO - in hindsight, imagine we were sat here today and it was 11 clubs instead of 12 because City had refused to join. It would have been the biggest step forward in the press for our ownership since it happened in 2008. The club made a big mistake, it’s been rectified, but we are in the same boat as the other 5 PL clubs on this one.
Maybe in your opinion, which you’re entitled to, however I’ll choose to differ. What legality? The EFL is destroyed, along with the clubs reputation, this will cost us dear, prestige, money, titles, 12 years of hard toil gone in a moment of greed.
I know it has. So do we just back everything they do now because they’ve bought the players to win us those trophies? I don’t like the way the club has been acting and going for the last few years and feel like this week has been an absolute disgrace on a Peter Swales level. Their ignorance and arrogance towards the fans over the last few days has been shocking. It has literally just funded the last 10 years of silverware on a scale never seen before, something we could have never done organically.
So again we have put the fans second to legal argument?Maybe in your opinion, which you’re entitled to, however I’ll choose to differ.

Season tickets were going up and up before the pandemic despite most clubs freezing theirs after the biggest ever TV deals were signed. They weren’t going up hugely but they’d constantly try and squeeze more from a hardcore working class fan base when in reality it would make very little difference to the club funds. It just shows contempt and a real lack of understanding from them in my opinion.
Did you think it would all come for free? Those players, the stadium redesign, the managers before Pep, and the ultimate man at the helm himself?I know it has.
