And Hastings in a performance that can only be described as Day Lewisesque shows his utter contempt at spending so many years chasing a villain so conniving, evil and hardened that he turns out to be in fact as scary as the Plusnet broadband bloke.

I thought this whole series was tremendous but tonight was just really meh. Far too rushed, not enough action and not really satisfactory that they've only really uncovered another Dot in Buckells.

The only good thing is the fact that Jed has very clearly aimed Buckells as being Boris Johnson.
