Show of support planned before PSG and Chelsea games

Brilliant pictures but I notice the Police.
More there and some in proper riot gear than at the Swamp on Sunday.

The Policing on Sunday was an embarrassment, pity the Officers who were there.

Tuesday looks fantastic though.

Why dont you post anymore you were one of the best and most interesting posters on here?
Thank you thats very nice of you to say so.

A number of reasons really, this place gets adictive and soaks up your time. I have a small but growing business of my own, my wifes parents needed more care and attention and have now both sadly passed away and now my own ageing parents require more of my time so rhe past couple of years any spare time became a premium.

Then you get out of the habit of posting and yet you're always tempted when you jump on and read certain things. My work got me involved with some of the players and then your judgement changes and you don't want to get involved in certain topics.

I do miss posting stuff and i miss some of the older names and one in particular i need to go and see soon (think of you all the time Bill even though I've not been in touch).

Anyway maybe i'll hang around a bit more this time and throw my hat in the ring more often.

If you do see Bill send him my regards I sat on the same row as him in block 211 before his illness forced him to move. Smashing bloke with a wicked sense of humour.

One of the nicest people you could wish to meet. I remember him visiting my next door neighbour a few years back and Paul (ndn) knocking on and saying 'A King of City is coming to see me in a few minutes, I bet you know him'. What a lovely surprise it was. :-)

Ok so I've not started a thread on here for years and only pop in on rare occasions these days but thought this was worth sharing with everyone. I know there is a similar thread so if the mods want to merge i understand but thought i didnt want this losing amongst other posts.

I had a chat today with one of the first team lads, im not revealing names so either take it on trust or not. The players loved the coach welcome on Tuesday night against PSG and were fist pumping back to the fans. He said it made a big difference to the whole squad and they were buzzing when they got to the ground. Asked about the PSG coach did we welcome that and I said from all I've heard we didn't and nothing was thrown. So keep it that way Blues because the players dont want it.

He asked me why we don't do the Poznan anymore and the players all thought it was brilliant and when we all return they would like to see it again so we should all bring it back if only on those big occasions.

So a big thank you from the boys in Blue, lets do it again, stay safe be proud and be good if Chelsea pass by.
This should definitely be in a thread on its own about the Poznań!

Imagine the whole ground doing that last Tuesday night! It would have been incredible. It really is gutting not to have been there for this campaign. A Champions League final and potentially no fans is heartbreaking. Usually you get around 15k which is not a lot but a lot better.

Will be one hell of a party when we are allowed back in and can hopefully celebrate a treble with the players.

I was pissed off in the afternoon on Tuesday before the game that I wasn’t going. And when I’d settled down after the game the overriding feeling I had when I was going to bed was that I was pissed off that I wasn’t there to experience that game.

If we win the final I know I’ll be the same.
