if Pep sees a weakness in any of our lads, following the semi-final, then they wont be picked. None of us know what injuries/niggles occurred, but the narrative will be "Pep's tinkering again", if some are rested, especially after a defeat.
After a win, there is always a chorus of "should av' played the kids" a draw or loss " ffs sake Pep, play yr best team" . Rotation is why we are where we are, it's not an exact science but we seem to be good at it imo, so who-ever he picks tonight will not have me chucking the toys out.
Personally I'd like Pep to play more or less the same team ,plus Sergio, that played them in the cup. They may target our players, who maybe a bit tired after playing psg in those conditions, and as it'll be lashing it down anything might happen.I know there's nearly 3 weeks until the final, but I'm 100% sure we'll get the points we need with the games remaining.

I think everyone is just getting giddy with the Chelsea can beat city hype at the minute to be honest. Listening to Danny mills on talk sport earlier and I don’t know why we’re bothering turning up for the final in a few weeks we’re going to get battered!
Yeah perhaps. i‘m more intrigued as to the swing in odds few hours ago we went from odds on to just over evens. They probably have wind that KDB or someone similar isn’t in the squad. Not that fussed about today’s game, obviously want us to win but more concerned about keeping everyone fit for the end of may

Young ? Azplicueta, Thiago Silva, Rudiger, Kante, Jorginho. Lots of experience there.
Mount 22
Pulisic 21
James 19
Chilwell 23
Warner 24

But I take your point. Perhaps I should have said their squad as a whole has less experienced at the elite level... How my titles do the current Chelsea side have between them compared to City?

Our players have a lot more experience of playing in the really big games. I think that's got to count for something...

May just be people taking the much better odds on Chelsea, thus pushing the odds on City down.

Clever rotation has been the key to this season’s success. Pep knows the squad and sees the bigger picture better than anyone.

Yeah and you can bet your bottom dollar that all the talk surrounding the final will be about money in football instead of discussing the two teams.

I like to see new teams competing at the top. If it weren't for Chelsea and City, then United would probably have won 11 out of 13 titles between 2000 and Fergie's retirement in 2013. Who wants to watch that kind of one team league.

compertistion is a good thing and keeps the sport fresh and alive
the only thing is once football invited the money men into the sport the media hated it

united like liverpool had there time. just like city and chelsea will find in the future somebody else wanting to take the crown ? its how you handle the fight and if you don't fancy facing up to them they will walk all over you

How many of those you have picked starting have you lost FAITH with in the past, ?
Rodri and Stones. I thought that ones was worse than the other and just not good enough for us.

I'd gladly be wrong about Stsrling but he's been off form for much longer than anyone else and I believe he was most at fault for us not scoring against Chelsea in the cup.
