Today's shooting in America thread

It’s a country with some of the cleverest people in the world living in it - and some of the most thick as pig shit too. God alone knows what the clever people think of all the shit that goes on there. Maybe even they are totally fucked up by the system that they too have an Uzi 9mm sawn off under their beds.

Goodness Gracious young fella, I hope you got everything off your chest
I should have qualified that with, and an equal amount of great people who must despair at the other half. Of course not all are the type I described. But I do hate that half.

And loads of other stuff. Evangelical insanity. Racism. No health system worth a fuck for their people. Billionaire haven. Infrastructure fucked. Still to become a democracy. In fact, the list is longer than I can be arsed to write. It's a fucking basket case of basket cases.
I lived there once.
For me it's a great place. I really enjoyed it. A vast beautiful country with very positive people.
You won't find many Americans who want to live anywhere else.

I know that it's a great place and fortunately has more decent people, my point is 74m voted for Trump. That is my point, half the country is fucking deplorable. They tried insurrection. I think that sums them up.

Yes but the people who voted for Trump were mainly people in industrialized areas and however much you or I hate Trump as a man he was good for the economy and created many jobs, this is what is important to people who live in those areas, putting food on the table, not his foreign policies etcetera.

No he didn't. Biden has been in charge with more jobs created. He didn't create them either. Tell that to the steelworkers who he promised he would build three new plants. The miners the same, infrastructure not a thing done. Without socialist payments to farmers of billions due to his disastrous trade war with China they would be fucked too. . Even the Stock Market is higher. The only tangible wealth increase he was responsible for was tax cuts for him and the other top 5% of the richest. He created fuck all and if Biden doesn't sort Trumps moronic foreign policy, they will lose even more trade. Fortunately there are grown ups now running the place, instead of a moronic rapist and traitor.

I wouldn't characterize the Trump vote as having mostly come from "industrialized areas."

Instead, I would characterize his vote as coming from mostly white, undereducated, religious, rural Americans. As any of these factors decrease - non-white population, education, non-religious, urban/suburban versus rural - Trump's support declines.
