I just can't see them getting near us if we play like we did in the semi's we made PSG look average. We was nowhere near our best yesterday and it could of been 2-0 at half time if we scored the penalty. We could also argue we should of had another penalty.

This. Chelsea are no where near the best side we have played this season. They have just benefited from playing us twice under very fortunate circumstances in terms of how we have approached both their games with unusual personnel and tactics and they still rode their luck in one of them.

Tuchel will have learnt absolutely zero from either encounter but Pep will have.

I think like many on here you overrate Tuchel. He has squeaked two narrow and fortuitous wins by a single goal against our second string

I agree I do think he's doing a good job but I think alot of fans on here listen to the bullshit media hype too much.

They was going on about how we will mentally struggle with Chelsea now in the final and they now fancy Chelsea for the final, same old shit and bollocks from the media as per....

I keep saying it and sound like a broken record but our first 11 is miles apart from the second team, the fans that are moaning about yesterday should of expected it going off what we have seen previous. I actually thought we played well yesterday considering the team sheet, doesn't really say alot about Chelsea when Leeds beat that team with 10 men.

No one has "smashed" Tuechel's Chelsea this season. It will an extremely tough game in Istanbul where will have to be at our very best to win.

It's not so much the miss - it's because he attempted a Panenka - not the best goal scoring penalty effort - and given that we would have won the title with a win - and given that the Panenka is seen as an insult to the opposing keeper/side - all told - I'm not happy that he attempted this.

Mendy is a very good keeper - and Chelsea are a good side. The game is in the balance. Take the best shot at goal you can. Not a stupid Panenka - unless you're somehow certain that Mendy will dive one way or the other.

That said - Aguero is one of our very best players all time - and is certainly one of my favorites - and has been loyal to our side throughout. I dislike his choice of penalty attempts - but I'm not going to cuss him because of this.

The fact he felt the need to apologise on social media tells you that he knows, as everyone else does, that he made a stupid decision and his miss cost us the game and the opportunity to wrap up the title. It was showboating and selfishness of the highest order.

You really don't know City. No real supporter of City sits back with a "meh, we'll win next time.". How was it a title decider? Because with City S#$T happens: our all time scorer attempts a PANENKA, we get denied a penalty despite VAR.
Regardless of your carefree attitude, it WAS a title decider. BTW MANure just won another one. No worries, we're City we always pull through.

Cancelo has reverted to the Cancelo of last season in the last two months, shame.

Mendy continues to be a liability 'running' back to his own goal.

Dias doesn't look half the player he is on the left side of a two, considering we bought him as a right-footed centre back?

Testimony to Stones' partnership with him perhaps, but Dias looks a little more spun out playing on the right.

My biggest concern re Chelsea is the amount of hairline offside goals they have scored in the two recent games, they are really hanging on the last man and backing themselves to get the better of our fullbacks.

I'm not worried, just still angry, as the players coming in should be good enough but are letting us down with both poor performances and results.

there is no point resting players if it means we have to play our best team at some point ?
its better getting it done and then have 3 or 4 games to use the squad instead of the last week of the season needing a result. i did understand the line up to some point yesterday but the system was crazy ?

chelsea had 3 or 4 in midfield to our 1 and rodri was fighting a losing battle and was ask to do the impossible
also the 3 at the back never works and mendy is finished and should be put out to grass. it was hard watching mendy being taking apart time and time again. it was so clear for everybody else to see he was struggling and i think pep finshed him off once and for all


like many on here I'm not worried just still angry ? we needed a show of strenght yesterday and got the other
we looked the weeker club ? if it was keeping a trick up pep sleeve then why put the changes on trying to win the game. pep should know better than to gamble on a big game (premier league title) it was there to win yesterday and sadly pep lost it

i feel the aguero but again should know better ? jesus well sorry if we all think he is taking aguero place next season then we are in trouble ? sterling looks like a soft mardarse toys out of the pram ? torres is the only one who will be given another season. anybody looking forward to next season with sterling jesus torres as our main strkers

To be fair to Dias he was a wider right rather than the normal CB position due to playing in a 3

Aguero scores that penalty yesterday it would of earned us a draw at least, Chelsea also had a few first team players out yesterday as well let's not forget. We seemed to get in behind there defence a number of times yesterday and with all our first team playing I'd like to think we'd be able to do it more. Whether we need them or not most of our A team will play v Newcastle because they have had a weeks rest and need to stay sharp.

I understand the frustration but equally do you think Pep is stupid ?..we could and probably should have won both games against Chelsea with weakened teams. Why give them the advantage of knowing our best team and how we will play ?We will win the league..Winning the CL is the big one this season..Just dont think there is no plan,there is, and frankly I think it is a good plan, and we will win.
