I find it baffling that there is any debate about this.

Grealish is so clearly the better player. You could argue about impact when Raz had his best seasons but on a technical skills level there is no contest.

Given our team is built around players having high skill levels Grealish is clearly the better fit for the team. For me he has all the attributes to become an outstanding integral part of the team.
 
Can't understand the Sterling comparisons. Grealish is so far beyond Sterling in terms of technical ability there is little room for debate.

Sterling's assets are his pace, work rate and tactical awareness. The three combined, plus the way we play, get him the numbers. With the ball he's very average. The last few months should tell us that beyond the current first eleven, there's a huge drop off in technical quality in midfield/attacking areas.
 
If we could get anything like what we paid for Cancelo, I would take it.

Far to inconsistent and far too flakey a character for me,

He will never take Walker's spot.
 
I find the disparaging of sterling a bit surprising. Clearly a different type of player to Grealish but his best is far beyond what Grealish has produced. Sterling has had a very poor season but he clearly has it in him to come back stronger like he did after the World Cup. It also doesn’t need to be either/or - their styles look complimentary to me

I am no lover of Sterling but on form he is a far better, match proven player that Gealish.

I am a big fan of Raz but I don't think he is a far better player than Grealish.

Raz has had the opportunity to develop at two top sides alongside many high quality players and under top managers. Grealish surrounded by our players and being coached by Pep would allow a proper comparison and I think it would be very favourable for Grealish.

Not always the case, some good players look amazing in average teams but can't step up when going into top teams.

That’s usually when a player is out of his depth. Grealish is desperate for a top team
 
The thing is will we sign him or not.
Me I'm not sure, i would be made up if we did, but in reality I don't think we will
 
The same Delph who was a reasonably priced squad player who at first did a u-turn. Did alright but not in his natural position. Fernando was just as good but both were not quite good enough going forwards.

There’s an element of horses for courses too. If we want a proper winger that will stay wide, Raz has proven he is perfect for us in that role. But we just don’t play that way often anymore so need brilliant technical players like Mahrez, Foden, Bernardo. Grealish is in the same bracket as the latter group.
