Not a fucking chance of Leicester winning or even drawing, we'll be luck if they even play any first teamers with the FA cup final on Saturday

There's more chance of them playing a weakened team in the FA cup final than tomorrow

@Akpowell friend, you do realise, right, that merely for competing in the group stage of the CL, every club gets £15 million? That's before they've kicked a ball in anger. They then get £2.7 million for any win, or £0.9 million for a draw. That's just the group matches.
The winner of the Emirates F.A. Cup gets £3.6 million; the runner-up £1.8 million (2020 figures, may need updating slightly). And the winner of course in no way qualifies for the CL by virtue of winning the F.A. Cup.
I mean, we're just not in the same ball park here.
Not to mention the fact that for a whole younger generation of supporters (younger than me, anyway, which isn't difficult) more kudos attaches to merely participating in the CL than in winning the F.A. Cup. I don't say that I like or approve of that, personally, but what I think is neither here nor there. With the global razzamatazz, that's how it is.

Are Leicester really going to fuck off the CL for what happens on Saturday?

i've got a sneaky suspicion, that if united do beat leicester the mongol hordes will descend on old trafford again and try and get it abandoned, they did all they could to not be in the scenario of getting beat off liverpool to hand us the league, i think they will do it again , this time they should be docked points.

honestly cant see them beating Liverpool esp with playing Leicester on Tuesday, those theiving scouse bin dips know they need to come good to have any chance of top 4

A proper punishment is required

There are a few things our blue tinted glasses have made us ignore :

There recruitment now is getting better. When you throw so much money around, a sum of it will prove to be useful. Cavani was an astute signing so was Fernandes.

Rags are getting better. They are one Sancho and CB away from challenging us for a title. Hence a striker and a LB/CDM for us is an absolute this summer.

Ole is no Pep/Mourinho but he does know how to get the best out of his team. I begrudging think that they may be able to challenge for a title even with him at their helm.

Of Course it can all come crashing down for Rags next season and we may end up winning the title as soon as tomorrow. I will definitely be the happiest man in the world but for now I would keep an eye on them.

Fernandes has had a huge influence on their season. Incidentally, I get the strong impression that he's played nearly every single game. The guy just never seems to be injured. He's as important to them as Son or Kane are to Spurs. Everything goes through him. In two seasons, he has missed one penalty (and God knows he's taken a lot).

I'd agree that it's easy to talk them down, and I think they've been decent this season, although there is still quite some distance between us under Pep and where Liverpool have been the past few years. The key point is that you don't need to be as good as those two sides have been to win the league most seasons. As good as they've been, however, I reckon that this season will represent a peak for them rather than a launching pad. I can't see them having enough to overcome City and Chelsea next year, the latter will improve again with a pre-season and have the second best squad in the league imo. I can't see them overcoming the unpredictability and the bad habits of going 1-0 down. But I think you're right insofar as the worst thing we can do is underestimate them going into next season.

Depends if Brenda has an eye on the Spurs job, he may well go for the glory of the cup and doesn’t care if Leicester get top four

I think leicester have buckled at the business end , not getting my hopes up for tomorrow , this is not the title win i was expecting with such a huge lead a few weeks ago
To be fair the alternative is also a mood dampener: "Man City win the title as United U23 got crushed by Leicester".

I prefer them winning their next 2 (sounds improbable tbh), which keeps Dippers out of the CL and us hungry for a win in our next match. The buildup to the next match would also be much more exciting. Otherwise, playing 3 training matches against teams with nothing to play for before the final is prob not ideal.

I was so invested in winning it v chavs at home , still pissed off tbh . If it goes down to the last couple of games it will be disappointing given where we were
