Exactly so as previously stated we have been fucked over, how the fuck do 5000 of us get to Porto with no direct flights. Some lads I know are flying direct from Edinburgh but can’t fly home till Tuesday

That's what we're doing £180 Thursday to Tuesday from Edinburgh

F off, the ONLY reason they're doing this is to try and claw back some lost loyalty post the protests (clever to be honest)

Suspect there will be a few City fans due to lack of MCR flights. I’m on the Stansted flight too.

May end up on it myself. Flown from Stansted loads of times. The flight back will be interesting one way or another !!

Indeed but they always stipulate no to book travel before you have confirmation of match tickets. We have not even had official confirmation it is in Porto yet.

Like I said it was a very brief conversation and thought it was worth passing on. The club have been looking at all kinds of scenarios we will just have to see what's announced in due course.

Booked Doncaster to Faro for £93. Thursday to Sunday. 6 hour train journey from Faro to Porto 19 euros and digs in Porto for 45 each.
If you want to get there cheap then you can.

Yep - if the top priority was fans, it would be at Wembley. Bit galling after all the stuff UEFA spouted about the ESL not listening to fans, and the first chance afterwards that they get to show how important fans really are, they put their sponsors & dignitaries above all else.

Something doesn’t add up … they’re giving 200 quid towards the cost, which is greater than 50%. Lets say cost is £395, why not just sell it at £195 and don’t worry about the £200 contribution ?

the package carrier needs the full 395. what your suggesting is that the Glaziers don't pay the 200 and the Carrier does it for 195. generous but not sustainable.

Or ….. the club just subsidizes directly with the carrier, who after all is club appointed as its an official trip. Everyone pays/receives the same.
