Thanks, I was thinking the same but I have cup scheme points from June 2020.I have the same issue. But if you click on the "ticket points" option then at some point in June 2020 you should have been awarded points for being on the scheme.

Seems strange. Maybe people were cancelling the cup schemes and not losing the poinsts. They changed the award of points for joining schemes to the end of the season, rather than the start.
That's exactly what it was. You could join, instantly get the points and cancel your direct debit the next day under the old rules.Seems strange. Maybe people were cancelling the cup schemes and not losing the poinsts.
I just did clarify. See text above
Imagine if we score. Would be like the scene from only fools and horses when they are sat in the car outside the auction house. Why the fuck would anyone want to watch a champions league final from their car hahaha.
Maybe it’s me, this is what’s on the website. What’s vague about it? They even give an example. So does that mean it can be over 72 hours as long as it’s on the third day prior to departure? E.g test Tuesday for a flight on the Wednesday? The government rules are vague in my opinion

Take a coronavirus test before you travel to England
You must have proof of a negative coronavirus (COVID-19) test to travel to England.
You must take a test even if:
You must take the test in the 3 days before the service on which you will arrive in England departs.
- you’ve been vaccinated
- you’re traveling from a country or territory on the green list
- you’re a UK citizen
For example, if you travel directly to England on Friday, you must take the test on the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

If its within 72 hours of you taking the testSo if you are doing Friday to Sunday, you can do the test on the Thursday before you leave, saving the hassle of having to do anything in Portugal?!
Correct. So if you are doing Friday to Sunday, you can do the test on the Thursday before you leave, saving the hassle of having to do anything in Portugal?!

Christ. It’s not 72 hours. It’s just in the three days prior. I feel I MAY have posted this before (like further up this actual page)If its within 72 hours of you taking the test
eg Take the test 1pm Thursday, fly home Sunday before 1pm.
Yes mate, that’s what I’m doing. So if you are doing Friday to Sunday, you can do the test on the Thursday before you leave, saving the hassle of having to do anything in Portugal?!
I’ll be taking all the documentation with me just in caseI see your point....but I wouldn’t be surprised if some do-gooder at the airport insist it has to be strictly within 72 hours and not ‘during the past 3 days’ (in which case a few hours more than 72 hours may be acceptable)
I leave at 6am Friday and return Mon at 4pm anyway so unless I have a test in the early hours of Friday morning the timing just won’t work unfortunately

Yeah, @Prestwich_Blue said last night that UEFA were still in discussions with the Portuguese govt - presumably about getting the bubble idea sacked off - and those discussions were understandably delicate. I'm guessing this was communicated to him by the club through City Matters.I believe the delay is with UEFA not City. Must be a nightmare for the club dealing with them and possibly a Portuguese Gov that is under public pressure.
It’s so important that people know the rules. Contradictory information could easily mean people are refused flights or sent home etc. Several were refused boarding at East Midlands yesterday![]()
[Withdrawn] Travel to England from another country – COVID-19 rules
Check if there are any COVID-19 rules in place for travel to England from abroad.www.gov.uk
the example on the link shows it can be more than 72 hours. It’s government guidance, I don’t think airport staff will be pedantic but point them to that if they are.
feel for you mate having to repeat yourself mate :-)
