NoWould it be fair to say an awful lot of the 20,000+ points brigade have already made plans, and the club risk alienating their hardcore support here?

Tomorrow. Details out this afternoonWhen are the tickets going on sale
Gives you more points so pushes you up the pecking order. This is far more vital now that the demand has increased. How does platinum change anything?
Because thousands have already booked trips and now fear they don't have a chance of getting a ticket. I'm sure no one is complaining about the gesture but the timing of it and how it affects ticketing is not great. How anybody can complain about this gesture is beyond me.....
I am affected but come on, it is a great gesture. I have 14950 points and on the cup scheme, I may now miss out on a ticket but I still applaud him. I had a choice I decided to book early. That's an easy thing to say when you are not affected! Let's see what the criteria is later for the many people who have already laid out.
I imagine it won't get past scheme and 16,000 points.I’d imagine it won’t get past Champions league scheme now and pretty high points total
Maybe the delay was City getting the concession for independent travel because of the reasons you mention. The same day bubble was clearly a part of the discussions between UEFA and the Portuguese Government and they may have been reluctant to concede completely.Let's hope city sort something for independent when full details announced later. Nothing from city in advance of this and shafted those that had gone out of the way to already sort plans. Is nobody at the club saying do you not realise how many have booked independently?
Whilst great for those not really arsed about going anyway the rest get shit on. If nothing agreed for those with travel already that's me done with city.
At least there's the good press city wanted after the ESL.
The club will have been waiting for details to be sorted whilst blues rushed to book it , both understandable imoNo offence but I'm guessing you haven't shelled out hundreds of pounds already for it? Its a lovely gesture but its a bit late isnt it?

If you qualify for a ticket, its an absolute no brainer. Free travel and buses for a game in Porto for the CL final, its oncredible value and what a day. Anyone uncertain and holding back will now be all over this.I’d imagine it won’t get past Champions league scheme now and pretty high points total
I think a lot of the flights people have booked may well be refundable but I'm on the Sport Options trip which is non-refundable. I'd still sooner have the 2 nights out there and ought to be still able to get a ticket with my points, but those a bit further down - the mid-pointers who thought they were in with a reasonable chance - may now end up not getting one. I suppose we'll have to see the devil in the detail when it comes to the ticket newsIt's a real shitter for the independents who've already booked. I suspected something like this was coming (well, not the free bit!) after the way yesterday's statement was worded.
Can any of these flights that have already been booked be deferred so supporters can go on the official trip instead? A lot of airlines are more flexible these days than pre-Covid. That then leaves accommodation and PCR costs to claw back.
