Is Extraterrestrial disclosure taking place?

I do wonder if this is the case as theres been a hell of a lot of rocket launches from NASA the past few weeks and now China sending one up as well.

In a way its illogical to think so...i think its Dawkins who explains that if you think of the length of time humans have existed on earth, in the overall length of time the earth has existed, in the overall length of "time" the universe has existed...in the overall size of the universe......the chances of intelligent life existing at the same time, in a location thats within some sort of travel distance are incredibly remote and minute.

Very true, although I had Pioneer and Voyager in mind in particular with my post.

Could be interpreted as "hello, please talk to us" or "hey y'all, here we are and we taste great with space ketchup" ;)

Although reason would suggest that most advanced civilisations would be friendly, or at least not a threat to us, there's no discounting races who just aren't aware of us or don't value us if carbon based life is ten a penny, or nomadic space parasites who listen out for the calls of the young and inexperienced of the galaxy in order to gobble them up just as the cheetah will take the smallest, weakest gazelle. Plus, if they see the transmissions of friends then we'll all fcuked anyway.
 
When you look at the diversity of life just on our planet it is folly to believe our version of reality would be the same as a being off Earth, everything about life on this planet is influenced by the environmental conditions of this rock in a very specific place in the cosmos. To even consider Aliens would have human values is massively vain.
 
Do we think it’s possible that one race from one planet could send probes and robots to another planet in order to explore and learn about other locations? :)
 
Again, as said on the other Alien thread, many of us would like this to be true.
We grew up in an era when all this was popular in the 'movies' and it's ingrained in us.
Add the absolute excitement at finding life on other planets and becomes religious.
Highly possible (or not) life exists outside our own solar system and the plausibility grows.

But I'm almost 99.9% certain nothing has ever visited us here. Just a large industry and a method for those agencies to grab funding.

I used to enjoy speculating but the anti-science shown over the last year during the pandemic has put me right off this party. You'll find many covid deniers are also alien visitor believers.

I am open to the idea that this may be happening, one thing is for sure there is no way that there would just be some announcement made that Alien life has been confirmed and it is around us. This is something that would be drip fed over a period of time.

The fact that they would be making contact with us rather than the other way round would confirm they would be of a much higher intellegence and have much better technology and that alone gives me hope that they may finally sort out VAR.
