Lucky bastards :-)Exactly the same boat, booked on the pretence I wouldn't get a ticket but will be in Porto with thousands of Blues before and after the game, if we get a ticket great, if not I was expecting to anyway.
To be honest, I think my preference would be to have a 2 night bender in Porto with a load of Blues with free reign of Porto and a potential chance of a ticket, than be carted on day trip planes in and out without soaking up the pre match and post match atmosphere.

More chance of running out of flights than stopping people going independently. Not many who were not already going are going to fancy £650 for ticket and tests and pay their own flight.

Hope so platinum on the cup scheme 13600 points,I expect they will carry on in 500’s as tomorrow, and hopefully Saturday, will cover a lot of fans who have had season tickets for a long time, don’t pay for platinum and don’t go away often apart from finals. I think it will sell out some stage Saturday on this basis.

Maybe Danny Wilson could have worked out that today would have been a good day to have more Supporter Services staff working?Can they not put a couple of people on overtime until 10pm on Friday and, if need be, Saturday?

My guess is that there are a lot of fans in the 14,500-17,000 points category, hence the smaller incremental drops. 2 of our lot qualify at 11am and 1pm tomorrow and I’ve heard through mates of others in that range too. I can see a lot shifting tomorrow even though the points only drop by 2500 in the whole day, with the remainder being shifted on Saturday once more criteria are announced.The ticket off have a lot of experience and know they ticket buying fan base, but boy, I would like to know the thinking behind these 500 points increments. Wouldn’t mind watching horse racing on Saturday.
