I really get what you mean, and I used to think like this too - and I still feel a sense of pride when Foden attempts to stay on his feet after being hacked at. Was a pretty pathetic display of playacting. Seen similar from Rodri and Cancelo recently too. If Kane shows up and 'dark arts' expert Fernandinho stays then City will soon start to resemble the Uruguay circa 1986 team. Disgraceful.

As great as he is at Villa, I wouldn't want him taking a spot in our squad. He is English so that would be a plus but other than that no. That spot could go to someone who is next level good imo.

I’ve heard that his agent is Jonathan Barnet and Barnet is a good operator. Keeps his clients profiles high.
Grealish ticks a lot of boxes for City and
stories of our interest won’t go away. I still wouldn’t bet on it (yet).

Indeed. Ferna is the most obvious one but by all accounts (rightly so) will extend. Maybe an offer comes for one of tbe others, or maybe they look to leave. Who knows. As it stands, hard to see.
