Jack Grealish

I'd like to see the 6 forward positions being between ...
LEFT ...... CENTER ..... RIGHT
Foden........Kane ........ Mahrez
Grealish.....Torres...... Jesus

They'd all get plenty of games imo.

A couple of issues over the past 5 years is hardly "hell raising". Give him a break, there's a lot of talented sportsmen that had flaws, it's part of their make up.

I don't need to give Grealish anything. He doesn't play for City. And considering the fact that there's people desperate to throw multiple title winners at City under the bus for Jack, I'm totally fine with going the other way.

Grealish would be my ideal signing. I think he's comfortably the most talented player outside of Manchester City in the Premier League, but it's probably completely unrealistic. He signed a contract last Summer, so unless he has a release clause it looks unlikely?

But if we're talking wish-lists then he'd be top of mine. If Pep feels there's life in the false 9 system, then this is a player who can get you goals from midfield. THere probably isn't a better player in the Premier League than Grealish at scoring goals from the edge of the box.

Grealish was convicted of careless driving, not drink driving.Unlike Yaya Toure, who it seems certain folk were happy to have representing our club.

Grealish has been a fool in the past,no doubt, and his antics aren't those i would want associated with us......however,from several sources,he has made huge efforts to sort himself out and be the model professional, those close to him talk of him with glowing reference.

And is anyone really daft enough to think Pep would be chasing his signature if he,and our club, believed he was a wrong un??

Have a word.

Seems unlikely we would be able to buy Kane and Grealish. Torres display at Newcastle was eye-catching. I would have liked to see if he could have scored at Brighton in that role.

I think he's got something. He's scored a lot of goals for a player who is in his first season and who has rarely played as a striker.

Any players coming to us this summer are ones that are upgrades to players we already have.

Haaland/Kane big upgrade, Grealish downgrade and as you say , possible issues off the field are a big risk.
Wait till he plays for City next season and your comments may seem a little silly.

He has a release clause,allegedly.

And yes,you are right, the perfect player for us and one of few who could force his way into the starting 11.

was a shame about that match, i reckon they were trying him there with a thought to the CL final

Imagine walking the league and then adding Grealish(2nd most creative player) and Kane(best striker) to the squad...It's almost cruel lol.
Cruel to be kind ;)

We don’t want the rags/dippers getting any ideas about winning the title next season.

We need combative midfielders. He is one of the best players in the league.

I'd hope for a Sterling replacement AND an Aguero replacement. Whoever we can afford and think are good enough.

Nah. I'm sorry but that is just so disrespectful to the players currently in our squad.

Also how does he suit our team and business model? He's been pictured crashing his Range Rover whilst drunk and having selfies taken with naked ladies of the night. That behaviour absolutely does not fit with our club.

Even his numbers are a joke in comparison to guys like Mahrez, Sterling, et al. Absolute joke.

Again, don't get me wrong, Grealish has got talent, plenty of it. But we're a long way from "he's THE signing". He'd be potentially third or fourth choice in whichever position he came in to play at city.
It's shiny new toy syndrome.
No doubt he's a talented player but how high he's rated by some here is certainly baffling.
His best attribute is being able to dribble and carry the ball well, an attribute perfect for a counter-attacking side that exploits teams who commit. That and good passing ability, those are his standout qualities.

You then look at the current city team and you'll see those are qualities the likes of bernardo, mahrez, foden and even de-bruyne posses and i'd argue all are better than him at. Only difference is playing for this city side they don't get to showcase it much as positional discipline and systemic/patterns of play are more of a priority for a side that plays against sides packed in their area 99% of the time.

So he's not coming to help the team create any more chances than it already does with the players it has and the way it plays. You're then left with goals and it's almost laughable when his is compared to some of the even much maligned players here. His best goal-scoring season to date is 10 goals and unless some believe he has this unlocked potential to chip in with 15-20 goals a season as a winger it definitely hasn't been shown yet.

But somehow a player who's best with the ball at his feet but doesn't score much is suddenly going to improve a team with a bunch of players with similar attributes but also chip in with more goals. Honestly the only thing he could offer the team currently that it doesn't have is the ability to win cheap free-kicks, but even that may go down if he were to sign.

A top class striker should be and I'm sure is the main priority this summer, anything else like a grealish will just be a bonus to offer more depth and options to the squad but he certainly won't be this game-changing player to the side many think he will

All about opinions, but I think if we get Grealish (and I hope we do), we will be a much better team for it. I think he has more to his locker tan you give him credit for

Sheer speculation on my part, but if he was coming in, would that mean Raz is on his way out? I love the guy and he's been fantastic for us, but he's never been the most composed on the ball and for that reason probably doesn't fit as well in this team as he has in the past.
