My main objection to Kane is that he's not 17.

I don't know of any player in world football that is 17, I'm pretty sure a commentator would have let us know if there was a 17 year old out there.

it just gives us options? we can swap to the false nine if required for certain games, christ even in games as Kane can drop deeper as well and someone else goes up top? We need a big traditional number 9 and Kane is brilliant with his feet, head and link up play! Kev will have a field day with him.

Sign a prolific record striker for 120m+ and use him in a false 9 role, seems a bit too insane in the membrane, even for Pep.

Watching Harry give pre match team talks was cringe, I hope to god Pep does not let him do it if he arrives here.

Do some fans genuinely think Pep has played the false 9 because that's his plan for the team? No chance. It works perfectly in certain games and one of the main reasons we're in a Champions League final but it relies on other players getting silly goal numbers for it to work.

I'd prefer to rely on one proven, unbelievable striker (Kane) to get us goals than a load of other players to push the bar up. They'll contribute still but the reliance won't be there.

Gundo's numbers are an anomaly but that's what pushed us to the top of the league at the beginning of the year. He won't have another season like that.
