managers should never go back as its never the same again. Spurs should look to the longer term and go for someone like Ten Haag who can work wonders on a more sustainable budget but still aim to play the right way?

Poch is walking into a weaker, older and disillusioned squad that has still won nothing meanwhile he has crashed out at PSG. Hardly a ringing endorsement of his abilities.

I know that won't a popular view, amongst the over 50% that want Kane. I do think though we have taken it at a very surface value level that Haaland is off the table and Kane is very much on the table, and I don't buy that at all, nothing i've seen suggests that. I think both are gettable, both will be equally difficult and equally expensive to get, and I seriously doubt the club will go for one only and disregard the other completely. So if we are pushed into landing Haaland over Kane, i'm all for it.

This will go on all summer. I may change my mind and jump on the Kane train. Just now with the window not even open yet, and all the opinion stemming from nothing more than one cloaked generic interview with Sky, for me it is all still to paly for on all sides.

Do you actually think a deal even if say hypothetically agreed behind the scenes, will be announced immediately after the CL, or heck even before the Euros?
