I can still be positive poster with City's transfer targets. I do tend to back the current players more and any signing should be just as good or better than them. I just don't get that with Grealish but I am prepared to give him a shot at it.

A Sane type player -its what we hugely miss......we have KDB, Mahrez with the same skill set as Grealish and foden and Bernardo who work as hard, as good if not better at working in tight spaces and Foden is equally a good a finisher if not better and whose potnetial has a vastly superior ceiling.

Someone with Sane's pace would of been ideal. Finding those types of players are more difficult.

Im not a scout....I have no name but thats not the point ....its the type of player that we require and in my opinon Grealish is not it.....he is overrated

As a neutral, Grealish is exactly what you need now. May not have the extra pace Sterling has but is actually quick himself, and can go either way with the ball, where as Sterling is more predictable. Has a lot more skill and quality with his final ball and decision making. Potential to be world class

Chelsea had dealt with our current technical players in that game with ease. Grealish would of ran into the same difficulties, despite having a decent game against them for Villa

Grealish would have controlled the long ball from Ederson and hit the target. Alas, he wouldn’t have had the pace to get there ahead of James In the first place. Therein lies the rub.

He terrifies defenders as they dont know what he's going to do. He is comfortable going down the line or cutting inside. His decision making and final ball are excellent and not only that he's strong as anything on the ball. He's actually very quick too, just deceptively quick as he glides. Lad has everything and will still improve
