My day 2 test came back positive this morning. I was on flight 16, so if you were on that flight, I'd advise taking extra precautions and to possibly expect a call from test and trace.
Please explain yourself if you can.Yawn
1600 people die a day in this country unfortunately. I don’t think we should put our lives on hold indefinitely for something that will be around long term. Soon more people will be dying on the roads soon should we take cars off the roads? That’s before we get into all the illnesses that kill far more people but treatment is now badly lagging behind on due to COVID.Please explain yourself if you can.
Is it really?
People need to follow the rules
Why take any tests at all if you ignore the ones that do not suit
Test to go out to Porto - negative. Away you fly
Test home positive from someone you on a plane with - so you isolate
Forget your own tests. You agreed to isolate if notified of others being positive

Hello mate. I was on the same flight and got a negative report yesterday. Who did your test? Obviously your pre flight shows negative as well. How are you feeling? My day 2 test came back positive this morning. My test was done by Source Bioscience, one of the suppliers on the approved list. I can't quite believe it to be honest. I'm feeling perfectly fine at the moment. I caught Covid in February and had my first jab in April, so I'm guessing I've got plenty of antibodies to prevent getting ill again. However, it just adds to how gutted I felt at full time on Saturday.Hello mate. I was on the same flight and got a negative report yesterday. Who did your test? Probably already posted, had a quick google as I was also on this flight, close contacts are normally everyone within 2 rows in either direction, although could be the whole section or plane depending on severity of the case. I have had both jabs. Where were you sat on the aircraftMy test was done by Source Bioscience, one of the suppliers on the approved list. I can't quite believe it to be honest. Right If I remember correctly 10 out and 40 back so closeish. I have had 2 Pfizers and as far as was possible observed the mask and distancing rules, yeah right on the plane! I am feeling absolutely fine and my negative came yesterday from Alpha BioLabs. Supposed to be having a lunchtime meet today and tbh if I hadn't read this thread would have gone ahead without a thought. Not sure what to do now, don't want to put my pal at riskRow 1 on the way out, Row 38 on the way back
It sounds to me like you're pretty well covered, however you could be considered a close contact. I was in two minds about putting the test result on here, but my other half reminded me that it could help prevent further transmission if someone happened to read the thread. Can you do your meeting online instead?Right If I remember correctly 10 out and 40 back so closeish. Just got my 2 day test back as negative from DAM. But just also had a phone call from NHS test & trace who were making sure I was self isolating.
I've just had a negative result back too and was on flight 16. Row 33 out bound and row 16 on way back so a good distance away....my concern however would be the transfer coaches as they were not allocated seating just organised by flight so there is no knowing who you were sat around. It sounds to me like you're pretty well covered, however you could be considered a close contact. My son ordered and paid for his home test kit from Recova-19 he is still waiting for it to arrive, done his own lateral flow test and is negative. He has heard that somebody on his flight.3 has tested positive but not been contacted by Track & Trace yet.
