I think us on flight 12 went through enough!!

Sent my Dante test off via a priority postbox on Monday and I’ve heard nothing.. Did you get the result by email or text message?

Both my lad and me used Dante, both posted Tuesday at different priority post boxes. I got my neg result back yesterday afternoon, my lad still not heard anything from them. Got my resuly by both text and email.

Has anyone who missed their flight on Sunday, due to the shitshow at the airport, successfully claimed compensation for it yet? Or even got the ball rolling?

I'm not sure where to start, got absolutely fobbed off by Ryanair.

Dear valued customer,

You recently ordered a test-at-home PCR kit from us for your arrival in the UK on 30/05/2021 and submitted your results for delivery to our facility for processing. We are writing to inform you that unfortunately we anticipate that these results may not be delivered to you within the expected timeframe.

Due to the May Bank Holiday this week, there was a pause in Royal Mail collections, which has meant that any kits posted from Saturday 29th onwards will have been collected no earlier than Tuesday 1st. These samples started to arrive at the Eurofins laboratories from Wednesday.

As a result, we have received a very high volume of samples which will take us some time to process. Our target is always to provide results to you within 24 hours of receiving the sample at our lab, but due to the gap in postal collection we wanted to inform you that there may be a delay in receiving your results for day 2 and day 8 tests.

We want to apologise for any inconvenience this will cause. We know how frustrating and uncertain the wait for results can be and that some of you will have posted your kits several days ago. Please be assured we have been working at pace to process this large number of samples from the moment they reached our lab and we anticipate the backlog will be cleared by Sunday.

Please accept our apologies if you’ve tried to contact us and not received a response yet – our team are working hard to respond to everyone. We are already experiencing a significant increase in the number of customer enquiries as a result of today’s changes to the travel traffic light system and expect this to rise further over the next 48 hours as we work to turn around results. We will contact you as soon as your results are available.

Just had email back after sending my day 2 test back and saying invalid and Ives got to do another
So that’s another £85 I’ve got to pay ffs this is a fuckin joke
The instructions said to rub it round each nostril 5 times exactly what I had to do on my lateral flow test for Wembley so I did exactly the same

pissed off doesn’t cover it

It’s not your nostril, you have to shove it right back as far as you can in you sinus and rotate 5 times!

Just received my results from Blindspot. Posted Tuesday am. My result is negative but it says I took an antigen test when i thought it was a pcr? I ordered a ‘Day 2’ test off their website. Anybody else’s form state this? Or just me?

Ha fucking hell. I just did a couple of lateral flow tests at home for peace of mind whilst being around the family. It’s all pointless in a way because tomorrow track and trace could ring me and I’d still have to isolate anyway despite returning all these negatives tests.

I found out this afternoon that I will be stuck in 10 day isolation because someone on my plane back (EasyJet on Sunday) has tested positive for covid.

It’s all a bit silly really. I’m double vaccinated and I tested negative in my Day 2 PCR, and in daily lateral flow tests since then. If I had travelled to an amber list, instead of green, could have tested negatively on day 5 of quarantine for an early release, but there’s no similar option for me now apparently.

Oh well, I don’t mind too much really. But will be interested to see whether a certain high profile politician stays at home, considering he was sat in front of me!
