Why have you got to pay again. For me you complied with all the rules, booked your test before you went, put it on your locator form, did test as promised. No one can accuse you of not complying.
Get a free NHS test instead if you want to be sure.

Mine is the same and the results dates and bar code are all my fit to fly results from my first test

It’s all a bit silly really. I’m double vaccinated and I tested negative in my Day 2 PCR, and in daily lateral flow tests since then. If I had travelled to an amber list, instead of green, could have tested negatively on day 5 of quarantine for an early release, but there’s no similar option for me now apparently.

Oh well, I don’t mind too much really. But will be interested to see whether a certain high profile politician stays at home, considering he was sat in front of me!

Which EasyJet flight was it mate? I am assuming gove wasn’t on a flight to Manchester?

Apparently he doesn't have to cos he's on a pilot scheme, just gets tested daily instead.

Well I have had an interesting one!

I ordered my day 2 test through www.rtdiagnostics.co.uk - who are on the government approved list. I ordered my day 2 test on Friday morning, despite getting emails on the same day saying my order had been processed, the testing kit finally rocked up yesterday.

I did the test etc about 6pm when I got home from work, registered it on the Recova-19 thing, and packed it up for dropping into the post box on my way to pick my mrs up from work at 10pm. At about 9:20pm, I get an email through saying my results are ready, and sure enough I login, and I have a negative certificate with my name and details on etc. Pretty fucking incredible considering the test is still sat on my kitchen table! It makes you wonder how many of these tests are actually properly tested!

Genuinely thinking of going to the press this one - the whole thing is a fucking scam, probably ran by the rich to screw more money out of people.

I was indeed mate thanks for remembering, over 12 months ago now i'm not sure if the girl on phone knew that but she did say if I was willing to take a flow test everyday a report it in to track and trace I could carry on working. We do that at work anyway so wasn't a hassel but I've opted for 3 days off help me get over last weekend :-)
 
Shocked to say I received my negative result from Eurofins last night (sent it off Tuesday eve). I wasn't expecting it anytime soon based on the chaos reported on here
 
Like many others I did my day 2 test with Eurofins and have still not received the result. Finally got an email blaming a backlog due to bank holiday Monday. Going to ask for my money back as it’s now 48 hours since Royal Mail tracing confirmed delivery to their lab.

The whole private testing thing appears to be huge money making scam. After the Wembley trip I did the day 5 PCR test at a deserted NHS site as requested and got a result in 30 minutes. There was huge unused capacity available at that site that’s already paid for by taxes that currently can’t be used for this. They could introduce a nominal charge that would go to the NHS rather than fleecing everyone to line the pockets of the private lab operators who are delivering a shoddy service. Absolutely ridiculous.

It’s an absolute disgrace.
After all his lecturing “I won’t be booking a holiday” then off he pops to Portugal for the football. Hypocrite.
Then miraculously he is chosen for a pilot scheme. Horseshit

More like the sheer incompetence and reprehensible behaviour of our government trashing their travel industry. For all this talk of fans self-isolating after flights back, almost everyone has tested negative. The rules are stupid, damaging and make no sense which is hardly a recipe for strict observance.

And frankly the whole thing has been going on for so long now that we are all becoming completely fed up with it.

Exactly this. I'm self employed sat at home twiddling my thumbs for 10 days despite giving 2 negative tests! The rules are absolute nonsense and are causing major issues across the board! It's genuinely getting to the stage where I'm scared to leave the house incase I walk within a mile of someone with it and have to isolate again!

Was this pilot scheme even mentioned before or has it conveniently been just developed for that smarmy twat?
