Point was it’s not essential travel in most cases. Horse and carts would probably prevent some deaths. You do know there are lanes, pavements, traffic lights, pedestrian and zebra crossings, speed limits, the Highway Code in general, you have to pass three types of tests to be legally allowed to drive, you have to have insurance and pay tax on your car, have the car serviced and pass MOTs, there are drink and drug driving laws, brakes and other safety aspects on cars to help prevent all these deaths don’t you?
People aren’t just going around driving however they like under no rules, restrictions or laws like the bumper cars at the funfair.
No doubt they'd find the Pastrami variantoh well least you can go to the sandwich islands
They should sent the uk goverment there and leave them, incompetent fools!!!
Yes and get told they have to rename it something elseNo doubt they'd find the Pastrami variant
I went to the Spa shop in Terminal 1 this morning and a flight arrived from Brussels. There was not a person of european ethnicity that came through arrivals. They did not look like they had come on business trips.A quick look at manchester departures from 06.00 to 14.00 today..plenty going out to amber list countries. Any blues on the ground at the airport who can confirm this..Emirates due out 14.05..Good luck to ya
My point is that if you and you’re vulnerable have been double jabbed when are you going to think it’s safe to get on with life as you did before? The government clearly have no intention of letting us crack on once 90% are double jabbed(despite lying we could once the vulnerable were all jabbed). So if you’re waiting for the disease to stop spreading or there being different variants then it’s this shit for the rest of our lives.Happy to take it back chief. Fire away. You called me a clown, I responded.
And yes, with the exception of the kids, we have. Your point being?

Good taste - we've got a place 5 minutes away in Gran Alacant, got friends in Santa Pola - haven't been out for over a year - really unsure what to do.We love Santa Pola and Elche.
Ignorance on full display again.Wtf are you on about? This isn't a zero sum game.
You cite cancer. Tell me, are there any very easy to implement precautions we can take to avoid most forms of cancer?
And yes I'm sure there are mental health issues involved with covid measures, just as I'm sure there have been and will be mental health issues connected to loss and grief at the avoidable death of loved ones due to covid.
And you can get a nice kipper tie in BirminghamBirmingham does offer daily shootings and stabbings..and the locals speak with a funny accent..
I get your point. And I fully support restrictions being lifted/modified to allow people to get the essential treatment they need.Ignorance on full display again.
it’s not a comparison of the treatment of cancer versus covid.
covid restrictions have led to thousands missing cancer appointments etc. Continuing this lunacy when we are now where we are to save all covid deaths would lead to many cancer deaths.
The suns out we live in a beautiful country I’m not sure why anyone feels the need to go abroad at the minute, just had a very nice chicken and chorizo kebab sat outside the botanist in Alderley, it’ll do for me.I get your point. That's got fuck all to do with going on holiday to Spain though, has it?
Bummer. On a personal note, we were a bit gutted yesterday when Malta didn't make the green list after all the claims being made that it probably would.
The missus cancelled it all this morning. We've not lost anything as it was a booking.com job with easyJet flights separately.
We were really hopeful we'd be going though, but hey ho. Maybe a bit naive of us. I'm double vaccinated and she's had her first and for weeks we thought we'd be able to go with Malta open to vaccinated Brits, and how many of their population is vaccinated and their really low covid figures. The best in Europe I believe.

I wouldn't mind so much if half the people complaining about not going abroad don't spend most of the holiday in the nearest 'English' bar, eating fish and chips. Or, more likely, gammon and chips. ;-)The suns out we live in a beautiful country I’m not sure why anyone feels the need to go abroad at the minute, just had a very nice chicken and chorizo kebab sat outside the botanist in Alderley, it’ll do for me.
