I don't think thats the issue, the issue is the lad doesn't want to come here. I have no proof, just a feeling.

well their plenty of rumours to the contrary that he does want to come here......

1. He wants to come to the prem - that means literally only 3-4 teams could afford him....Us, Chelsea and Rags....maybe the scousers

2. We have Pep who is regarded as if not the best manager of all time one of the best

3. The lad is highly driven and motivated....if he wants to win trophies we have won 8 out of the las possible 12 (I think)....so he would be considering us purely based on that alone.

4 and 5. His dad played for us and there is a good connection there...he used to support us and grew up watching us......

6. Attractive style of football

There is plenty to attract Haaland to us.....who else could afford him this year if he wanted to leave....

Barca are not going to g for him....they werent even before they got Kun on a free but now there is zero chance
Madrid - the are after Mbappe and Mbappe wants them......
PSG - would he go to a one horse league?

Dortmund only sell if Haaland agrees to be sold and the question is why would he?

Say, for argument’s sake, that Haaland is worth say €150M, and if Dortmund wanted to accept an offer of €150M for him right now, then where’s the €30M for Raiola, €20M for his dad and €20M signing on fee for Haaland’s bank account in the Cayman Islands going to come from?
Well it would come out of the fee paid to Dortmund or Haaland wouldn’t move anywhere.
Therefore Dortmund wouldn’t actually make any more money by selling him now as opposed to selling him next summer.

And why would Haaland, his fat agent and his dad gift circa €70M to Dortmund when it’s their’s for the taking in 12 months?

To my mind this is likely to be the stopper.

Also, if Haaland is worth €150M now and if he performs consistently well and holds his value until next summer then Raiola will make sure that whoever buys him pays that full whack.

Some posters have the odd notion that Haaland will become a cheap buy because Dortmund get less of a fee next summer but they’re forgetting that Haaland, his agent and his dad will have the difference earmarked for their bank accounts so Haaland will cost as much as the market values him at, it’ll just be the case of the split between the involved parties being organised differently is all.

I recall the away leg in Monaco and all the posters in the principality promoting the game centred on Bernardo.
A league winning team that was broken up soon after.. Mbappe, Fabinho, Mendy yet Bernardo was the stand out player for them across the two legs.
I still think he has yet to hit his prime and is one who benefits less from being rotated.

I can’t see nor could fathom any circumstances in which we would sell him.

Laporte is gone I reckon, Pep and him have been having a basically public spat for the past few months about game time. Unless something happens to Stones then why would he play. He is about to be starting CB for Spain and if he was to win the Euros or something hes not coming back to sit on the bench.

Bernardo would be a surprise but more so if he is pushed rather than he wants to go himself. I don't see anyone throwing like 60m on the table, he goes as part of a package for Felix I think or if he is that desperate then we take cash and just put it towards a Grealish.

I think we are in for a surprise in terms of fees more than anything. It will be supplemented by selling people like Nmecha, Harrison, Herrera and so on for fees up to 15m and they cost us basically nothing.

Not starting him in a CL Final,and,at times,playing a 36yr old ahead of him,suggests Pep might also disagree.

In fairness to Rodri he had the least rotation in the first part of the season and just ran out of steam towards the end. Bit unfortunate for him really I think he'd have been one of our top 5 players across the season till about March.

If there is a release clause there cannot be a bidding war....all any club has to do is match the release clause so Im guessing if that were to happen then Haaland would just decide on who he wanted to go to....basing it on whatever factors he deems most important...

I agree...Kane seems to be our target for what ever reason(s)

what Im saying is that If we are going to put 120m-150m on the table for Kane then we should do it for Haaland as it would be financial suicide for Dortmund to turn it down...

Let's stop this nonsense, Berna doesn't make any risky passes, of course we keep the ball better, but KDB is the best player on the planet.Let's be happy that a good player like Kdb is playing for us and will most likely become a legend here. Say what you want but Berna has nothing to do with Kdb's level and I can't even say that Berna works harder than Kdb,because Kdb is the example of a player who can run the whole game and sprint even when he has to breathe on his ass.
