Closing date was the 14th May apparently so it shouldn't have taken that long to count up the votes.
Incidentally someone writing in the Sunday Express said it should have closed after the CL final so that Kante or Mount could have been included. What a stupid comment its for POTY not the player of one game.

100% he’s sensational, the most dynamic and talented player I’ve ever seen in a City shirt. It’s a joy to watch him live.

My Dad who passed away three years ago and was never that keen on modern players had him in the top three city players he had seen along with Peter Doherty and Bert Trautmann.
