Everyone entitled to their opinion and that's mine. It's fine if you're not convinced, like I said in another post I wasn't convinced but since every game has been on telly I've seen almost every Villa game and he's changed my opinion of him so wasn't meant as a patronising comment I just can't see how people don't rate him if they've seen him play often that's all.
 
Signing Grealish gives us more options and improves the squad. He’s a great player.
I’m not quite on the “he’s better than what we’ve got” bandwagon which seems to be gathering pace and I’m definitely not of the opinion we should be spending anywhere near 100m to get him when the position he plays is low down on the priority list but if there’s a deal to be made I’d be happy to see him sign.
Our summer budget should be earmarked for a WC striker. That’s our priority.
Grealish should be the cherry on top of the cake, not the actual cake.

Exactly how I feel as well.

I think we'll get him in the end but I just hope the price isn't ridiculous and that City supporters will be a bit more realistic about him if we do get him. Because, as good as he is, he isn't a perfect player and you just know that the pendulum will swing entirely the other way if he shows up and takes a while to get going or show consistency.

Go back a year or so and the chat around Grealish on here was pretty different but his reputation builds every day that we're linked with him and I think people need to be more realistic.

You can generally tell when a player has made the choice. There is a split second between contact and over-exaggerated fall which shows the player has thought “I’ve been touched, time to hit the deck.”

See it every year. It's all about season ticket sales and PR.

Club secretly losing their star player buys before it sells. Loads of positive ITK stuff and rumours. Then after a suitable wait, fans get used to the rumours surrounding the star player. And he leaves.
