Ex City Youth Players

Another that thought he knew best though - Sancho may have done well there but Boadu wanted the move to Dortmund, they released him and then he wanted out of Crawley because he wasnt getting into the team.

Backed himself but ultimately badly advised? Or were the decisions his?

Shame he did look good for us.

Goes to show being a star in the youth team doesnt get you a high level career - Duncan, Cole, Boadu etc. Its tough out there for kids. For every Sancho there are dozens who didnt get that lucky break. But for Every Foden there are similar. Which takes you to the best career? Who knows.
It wasn't his knee as I remembered but his foot (presuming this is all correct). It certainly doesn't read well now.

Seen an ex youth player jogging round Stretford lately Nathan D,Laryea . Think he played a few seasons at Macclesfield after leaving City

How’s Seko Fofana getting on? He always looked class for the EDS from memory, thought he’d do well when he left

Bit of a blast from the past is Fofana. Seems he went to Lens last Summer (for around £7.5million) where he appears to have been an ever present in CM (injuries and whatnot aside) for the season. He's 26 now.

Interesting - I just remember him running the midfield and scoring big goals in the EDS. It was in 13/14 wasn't it? The same season Toure was unbelievable so maybe Fofana got a bit more attention as a successor?

Glad he seems to be doing well - £7.5m nothing to be sniffed at!
