I’m not against buying Kane, would be my third choice if we could just pick. His injuries though isn’t about games he has missed the question is are all the ankle injuries going to weaken the joint and end up being career shortening. I’m not a doctor so don’t know but thats the question the club would be asking the medical people about his injuries.

They will buy players that will keep them in Europa league and that’s it. They can’t afford to take chances but they also can’t afford to not be at least in the europa league. They are in a real difficult situation that’s why I think they will take Ake as he’s perfect for them at this moment in time

Interesting on 2 levels- no denial that Kane will be sold - he could have killed all speculation with a strong rebuttal and absolutely no confirmation that they would spend to address Kane’s frustrations - which Levy acknowledged… effectively Spurs are skint and need to sell. I’d say the Kane transfer is on.

Son is great as a foil for Kane but doesn't look the same player leading the line.

My target would be Lukaku. I don't see how a team can stop a City X plus Lukaku from scoring. Endless crosses or counter-attacks, and City do counter-attack when opposition counter breaks down. Countr-counter-atacks.
