Seasoncard - 2021/22

I was told on the phone today it wasn’t guaranteed
Well they can't 100% guarantee it, as has been explained. But they should be qualifying that by telling you why they can't, rather than people (naturally) interpreting it wrongly and jumping to the wrong conclusion.

so what happens if we dont get a ring back by wednesday?
I don't think they'd have a leg to stand on - the completed form is effective confirmation that you wish to take up the club's official offer to defer.
This is why I can't understand why there is any need for the club to phone back... All the ticket office needed to do was update the s/c record and ask fans to check their Cityzens account to ensure it had been done.
The club really didn't think this on through.

I think the fact of this thread is nearly 170 pages in averaging nearly 1700 posts and most are asking serious questions, there is clearly something not right the way the club are handling this .
And this is just on a fan forum it’s not good enough. The way the club have handled this is lazy. Not everyone are I.T articulate, not everyone has the time of day to be on the phone for 2-3 hours maybe more .
Those of us DD have no worries the club say sit tight we’ll take your money but for many there’s questions what they want to ask but unfortunately can’t . I remember not so long ago I’d be sent a letter by the club delivered by a postman with everything I needed to know regarding my season ticket
Sadly no more .
The club needs a reality check on its fan base.
If you can walk with kings nor lose that common touch....
we have team of champions, sadly the rest of the club is not.

The one positive from this week is confirmation that season ticket holders can continue to share tickets if they can't attend. How this is done on the mobile phone scheme is still to be communicated but I feared this would stop and I know this is a deal breaker for many.

Apologies for asking, but I’ve not seen where this has been confirmed? Was it official via the club or just on here?

Not sure about this, but if city send you an email like they did for Everton game to download onto Apple Pay etc, can’t you forward this to whoever wants to use your spare ticket and put it in that persons Apple Pay ?

Technology isn't a strength but hopefully you'll see the attached, from the T&Cs that have been updated this week on City's ticketing website. I went here looking for info on mobile tickets and found that in the process. I can see why the club wouldn't shout this from the rooftops, but can't fathom why they don't get word out given it's a hot topic for many.

Always been the case that Reg.

anyone looking to ring the club - they are much more accessible via DM on twitter - i have a query sorted within a few hours. Just tweet them your issue and they will follow you and ask for supporter number etc.

Its much more public so they reply quicker :)
really i posted a query yesterday and not had a single reply, pissing me off how i'm not able to get through, spent most of friday on the phone as well

People not unnaturally jumped to the conclusion that the club might sell their seat to someone else permanently.
Sorry for not being clear. Under what circumstances would the club not renew your existing seat if you choose to defer?
I have seen one example being changes to the stadium. Are there any others that the club has outlined?

No. The only reason they've given us for not guaranteeing the seat is if it's physically not going to be available. Whih is understandable.
