Not many have thrived in the premier league tbf. Zola, Di Canio, Di Matteo, Ravanelli probably the exceptions. Early Mario maybe. Oh, and my personal favourite Massimo TaibiThat’s the mother of all cliches

Yes he is wrong. Is he wrong. The track record isn't good
That’s why we look at their season and history and not just one game heheIf there's any player that should be catching people's eye today is Spinazzola, not so much Locatelli. For us especially
Well... I don't have the figures, but there's not been that many in the premier league altogether compared to - say - France. City fans in particular are touched by the story of Rolando Bianchi, who lasted a few months, and never moved out of his caravan. And whilst I don't have the figures, you can see from Wikipedia that many who have made the journey, have only stayed a year or two.Yes he is wrong.
What I can’t believe is anyone is going to say this: this player is ticks all the boxes, but he is from X country. It isn’t logical. It’s literally a prejudice. You can say that about Italians or those from, I don’t know, Burkina Faso... or Norway...
Spinazzola has been good in the league as well. That’s why we look at their season and history and not just one game hehe
I don’t think he even had a particularly great game todaySpinazzola has been good in the league as well.
He was good, not standout, but that's who I would be looking out for, for us. A left back who easily gets up and down the pitch, comfortable on either foot, very aggressive in getting to the box and overlapping. The standout would probably be Gosens from his performance vs France, but he is also a good option who had a good season.I don’t think he even had a particularly great game today

That’s fair, though I wouldn’t have him in my top 5 of LB targets. Locatelli was one of my favorites for DM months ago (from the attainable options). He was good, not standout, but that's who I would be looking out for, for us. Looks likely anyway that we will stick with Aké and Zinchenko sadly. As for a DM I wouldn't mind Locatelli, but need to see what other options we have. That’s fair, though I wouldn’t have him in my top 5 of LB targets. Locatelli was one of my favorites for DM months ago.
One of the other DM options was on the bench for Switzerland in their first two games...Looks likely anyway that we will stick with Aké and Zinchenko sadly. As for a DM I wouldn't mind Locatelli, but need to see what other options we have.
Di Matteo
True, though he had played three seasons in Serie A and was a full Italian international before coming to chelsea thoughAs a point of pedantry, this one doesn't count. Swiss Italian, grew up in Switzerland and developed in Swiss Football.
There's only 1 Italian player with a premier league medalItalians rarely do well outside Italy.
Homesick boys missing mama's pasta.
Zola being an exception.
Oh Ballotelli…?There's only 1 Italian player with a premier league medal
Loads of managers though
Nery Castillo says hi.Yes he is wrong.
