Peter Walton..

Anyone who takes any notice of anything Walton has got to say needs to have a serious word with themselves.
The man was an incompetent referee and has shown himself to be clueless time and time again when stealing a living masquerading as an expert when asked for his opinion on the laws of the game.

Best one was when asked if it was a penalty…..long long pause as he desperately tries to delay his opinion hoping the VAR decision will save him…then chooses to give us a quote from the laws of the game as if he is helping VAR come to the right decision….whatever that ends up being.

He's the man that you should take notice of.

Just as long as you realise that the opposite of what he says is true. With 100% accuracy.

Never in living memory have the LotG been in the hands of the most incompetent bunch of individuals that could be assembled. What's good on one day is reversed on the next. Players desperate to fall to the ground with no contact beyond brushing the thigh of a player they run past, and the whistling wankers deliver a better chance of scoring than the team's talents can deliver. It is becoming a screwed up game, reffed by folk who are more secretive than the Stasi, and there appears to be nothing and nobody on the horizon who can shift it back into something a lot more wholesome.

Tonight's classic. Yes it was a trip, but not enough of one to give a penalty, Where does it say in the laws of the game that you have to trip your opponent with force???
What he didn't explain was that the 'slight trip' should have delivered a 'slight penalty'! Perhaps one taken from, say fifteen yards! The fellah's an absolute nincompoop!
